Uri Elbaum was a contestant on Season 23 of Hell's Kitchen. He ranked in 16th place.

While the blue team were doing their punishment, Uri informed Sous Chef James of his back pain and that he was not sure what to do. Chef James told him to do what he felt he needed to do, and Uri took a break in the dorms, conflicted whether to leave the competition or stay.
As the red team returned from their reward and both teams were about to start service, Uri told Chef Ramsay about his back and that he didn't want to sacrifice his physical health nor get in the way of his team. Ramsay then told Uri that the latter's health and wellbeing is his biggest concern, and asked Uri if he is deeming himself unfit to continue in the competition. Uri confirmed his decision to leave, and as Ramsay granted his wish, the remaining chefs gave a standing ovation to Uri as he gave Ramsay his jacket. During Uri's exit interview, he stated that he did not want to go home and that he wanted to give it his all, but was unable to in his condition, and that when he arrived to the US, he only had 50 dollars in his pocket, concluding that being in Hell's Kitchen is an honor he will remember for a lifetime.
Ramsay gave no comment on Uri's departure, and he did not receive the coat hanging and portrait burning sequence.

- At 27, he and Michael are the youngest contestants of the season.
- At 16th place, he is the lowest ranked contestant to announce the nominations.
- He also holds the record for the shortest tenure of any contestant in the history of the show whom Gordon asked to reveal the team's nominees for elimination, only having participated in two challenges and one service before quitting.
- He is the first contestant from Argentina.
