Season 7 of Hell's Kitchen aired on Fox between June 1, and August 10, 2010. Banquet chef Holli Ugalde, from San Bernardino, California, was the winner of that season and was promised a Head Chef position at the Savoy Hotel in London, United Kingdom. This marked the first time a prize was awarded in the UK. However, she was never awarded this position because of supposed visa issues, so she accepted an undisclosed amount of cash, and kept the title of "Season 7 winner".

At the end of each episode, one chef from the losing team is eliminated by Ramsay, sometimes after being picked by the "Best of the Worst", determined by Ramsay after the last dinner service. On that season, there were only three chefs eliminated from the blue team, and all of them were eliminated unusually. This is the second season that both of the finalists were never nominated for elimination. This season also marks the first and only time one team never won a service over the other, apart from joint wins.
