Season 15 of Hell's Kitchen aired on Fox between January 15, and April 29, 2016. Country Club chef Ariel Malone was the winner of that season, and was awarded a Head Chef position at BLT Steak at Bally's Las Vegas, with a $250,000 salary.

At the end of each episode, one chef is eliminated from the losing team by Ramsay. That season marked the first time ever that every single chef, without exception, were nominated at least once. It also marked the first time since Season 6 that only the final three competed during the last black jacket challenge and service, and is also the second consecutive season that featured an all-female final three (following Michelle, T, and Meghan from the previous season).

- This is the only season where the Signature Dish Challenge took place in the prize restaurant.
- Jason Thompson, the narrator of Seasons 1 through 12, returned after being absent for Seasons 13 and 14.
- Season 15 holds two unique distinctions:
- There was no Taste It Now Make It Challenge or a charity dinner service, both staples of Hell's Kitchen.
- It is the first season where every contestant was nominated at least once.
- This season holds the record for the most consecutive joint losses with three and is tied with Season 12.
- This is the final season to use the "Remaining Number of Chefs" as the title for each episode.
- This is the first season in which every contestant won at least one challenge and/or experienced and went on a reward.
- Along with Season 13, this season featured the longest streak of male contestants eliminated, with six.
- This season is tied with Season 7 and Season 21 for having the most team switches, with three.
- If you compare the blue teams in other seasons, this season's blue team set the record of second most dinner service wins in a season with five, excluding joint-victories. This record is shared with Seasons 6, 7, 17, and 18.
- This is the second consecutive season to feature an all-female final three and finale.
- This is the second season where only one male contestant made it to the black jackets.
- This season marked the first time in the show's history where the Blind Taste Test ingredients were infused with other foods rather than just the ingredients themselves. This continued until Season 19 onward where it switched back to regular ingredients.
- This is the second season where Chef Ramsay asked a team for three nominees.
- This is also the first season where Ramsay called forward three nominees from one team without any of them being his own.
- This is the first season where Christina Wilson was the red team's sous chef.
