At the end of each episode, one chef from the losing team is eliminated by Ramsay. That season marked the first and only time ever where all the chefs were eliminated properly, which is after being nominated. Only Barbie and Dana were not eliminated that way, but Ramsay cutting the field in half immediately before the finals has been usual since Season 7. Also, exactly four contestants were eliminated after each team assignment.
