The eighteen new chefs arrived at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as Ramsay wanted them to see the first official Hell's Kitchen Restaurant. Marino greeted the chefs at the front doors and took them inside the restaurant. As the chefs drank champagne, they got to know each other. Eventually, Ramsay came in, explained that the Hell's Kitchen Restaurant was built on the show's eighteen-season legacy, and revealed that it was one of the highest-grossing restaurants in America. Ramsay revealed that he brought them to the restaurant for inspiration because the winner of that season would become the Head Chef at the brand-new Hell's Kitchen Restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Peter remarked that Lake Tahoe was an amazing place due to the scenery. Ramsay admitted that they would not be competing in the real Hell's Kitchen restaurant due to the demand, so they would be going to Los Angeles to compete. The chefs returned to the bus to head to the airport, Marino handed out the tickets, and once arriving at the strip, they see a helicopter revving up. Ramsay took it and flew off, and he called the latter 007. After some time, the chefs were called in for boarding, but as the chefs walked through the doors, they found themselves standing inside the restaurant. Then, Ramsay appeared in his chef jacket, revealed that for the first time in the show's history, Hell's Kitchen would take place in Las Vegas and had some performers do some shows for the chefs. While the chefs could not do any of the tricks they saw, they reaffirmed that they could indeed cook to Ramsay.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Peter was paired up against Amber. They were the sixth pair to play for their ingredients, and they received ribeye, beets, and potatoes, making him confident as he compared it to pulling things out of his fridge. He was the seventh person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay and made a Cuban spiced ribeye. He scored 4 points, and the blue team won the challenge 28-27. They were rewarded with dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Steak with Ramsay himself joining them, and a ride on the High Roller.[1]

Before the Creative Shrimp Challenge, Peter said that having a dish he made be in association with Ramsay would be phenomenal, making him want the prize more. He lost the challenge as his dish was not chosen as part of the top three.

During dinner service, Peter was on the meat station with Drew. He and Drew walked their meat up, but Ramsay saw that the duck he cooked was overcooked, and it was too firm to the touch, reminding him that they serve duck pink. Later, Drew told him to re-fire the duck again because it was nearing overcook. After multiple mistakes, he, along with Drew and Eliott, were kicked out of the kitchen. The blue team lost the service, Ramsay called him out for fucking the duck, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Drew reminded him of his problems on the duck, but while Marc agreed with the former as he saw him fuck them over, he refused to go up for elimination.

He was not nominated for elimination.[2]

During the Caesar Salad Challenge, Peter was seen getting one of his attempts accepted. The blue team lost the challenge 8-10, and they were punished by prepping and peeling Scotch quail eggs for Ramsay's Caesar salad dish as it would be featured in that night's service. During the punishment, he accidentally broke his egg in excitement for nearly finishing up.

During dinner service, Peter was on the fish station with Cody. He was not seen that night, and the blue team won the service.[3]

Episode 4[]

During the Wedding Brunch Service Challenge, Peter was on the buttermilk waffle station with Cody. He was not seen during the challenge, and the blue team lost the challenge. When Declan and Marc began arguing, he and Cody tried to get them to stop, with the latter reminding them to represent themselves because they had couples watching them from the dining room. The blue team was punished by making 1600 cupcakes for the wedding couples. During the punishment, he was horrified when Josh finished the purple cupcakes with pearls as there were no pearls on the demo cupcakes.

Before dinner service, Ramsay announced that Drew would not be coming back after leaving for the hospital days ago, and Peter welcomed Amber as a new teammate. During dinner service, he was on the fish station. At one point, Declan warned him that the pans he dropped the scallops into were not hot enough, but while the blue team tried to help him out, he got annoyed as he knew how to cook scallops. When he walked the scallops, he had a fear they were not cooked properly, leading Declan to ask why he walked them despite that. True to Amber's concern, Ramsay rejected the scallops for being overcooked, but he tried to turn it around. On entrées, Declan told him to put his halibut on, but later, when the former asked him if the fish was ready, Ramsay saw that there was no halibut cooking. That frustrated Declan as he told him to be ready earlier, and a furious Ramsay warned the blue team that he would kick them out if any of them made a single mistake. When he came up with the halibut, it was burnt, and to make things worse, it was their last portion. True to his warning, Ramsay kicked the blue team out of service.

Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Amber called out Peter for his lack of communication skills that night, while Cody noted that he had a poor performance. However, he considered Marc and Declan for nomination due to their fighting and believed that the blue team would never gel with that going on, with Amber agreeing with that.

Peter was named the blue team's second nominee for elimination, with Marc as the first, and they joined Brittani and Syann from the red team. During his plea, he admitted that he had a poor night but knew he could cook. He survived elimination.[4]

Episode 5[]

During the Mexican Cuisine Challenge, Peter paired up with Josh, and while collecting their ingredients, he grabbed pork for their tacos. The blue team lost the first part of the challenge, and they had only 40 minutes to cook their dishes. He and Josh were the second pair from the blue team to have their dish judged and went up against the pair of Nikki and Syann. They made pork barbacoa tacos, but despite Aarón Sanchez getting the reason why the two made their tacos small, he felt it did them a disservice, and they lost that round to Nikki and Syann. The blue team won the challenge after a tie at two each, and they were rewarded with a spa day at the Voie, located at the Paris Hotel. During the reward, he said that the last facial he got was from boiling pasta, but when Amber told him to speak up more in dinner service, he got dismayed as he wanted to relax, while Syann knew Amber could not help herself.

When the blue team came back from their reward, Peter told Declan that he did not want to compete any longer as it was starting to wear on him, and he did not like the direction the blue team was going. However, Declan told him that if he quit now, he would be kicking himself in a couple of months and said they needed him to keep the blue team strong. During prep, Declan helped him out so he would get refocused on the competition.

During dinner service, Peter was on the garnish station. One hour into dinner service, he had no idea how to cook the tomatoes, with Cody forced to explain how to. Adam felt that he was getting frantic, and when Ramsay saw that he was not talking with his team, the latter had to urge him to do so. However, he called out six minutes for the garnish when Adam only needed four. When he walked up his garnish, Ramsay sent it back as it needed more stock and had to help him out, making him feel like that he looked like shit in front of the best chefs in the world. Then, he was late serving the mashed potatoes, and when he did send them up, he had no idea what was up next even though Josh told him it was his responsibility. Fed up with the basic mistakes in the blue kitchen, Ramsay pulled the blue team to the front and told them to cut the shit before asking them if they had the qualities to become his next head chef. While most of the blue team said they did have them, he flat out said he did not. With that, Ramsay eliminated him on the spot and moved Amber to the garnish station, with Marc stunned by his admission. He walked back to the dorms to pack up before walking out the front doors of the restaurant. During his exit interview, he felt he was not ready to become an Executive Chef if this were the steps he had to do, said that that the cash prize was not worth the mental stress, and said he wanted to go back home with his family. Ramsay gave no comment on his elimination, and he did not receive the coat hanging and portrait burning sequence until the sixteenth episode.[5][6]

  • Gordon: "Have you got the qualities to become a head chef at Lake Tahoe?" Blue Team: "Yes Chef!" Peter: "No Chef, I don't." Gordon: "You haven't?" Peter: "I don't." Gordon: "Take your jacket off, and fuck off."
  • (After being ejected during service) "You know, if this is what it takes to be an executive chef, then the facts are there. I am not ready.
