Season 10[]

Episode 1[]

Main article: Episode 1001 - 18 Chefs Compete

The eighteen chefs arrived to Hell's Kitchen via SUVs and police escort, and as they walked in, Sous Chef Scott told the chefs he shaved his head to prove his commitment to Ramsay and showed a picture of him with a full head of hair, before deciding to shave the chefs' heads. After two chefs got their heads shaved, really Sous Chef Scott's friends, the latter was about to shave Danielle's head until Ramsay stopped him and told her to get back in line. He told the chefs to get in the kitchens to cook their signature dishes.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Patrick called working for Ramsay the cat's meow after hearing about the reward. When Guy warned Ramsay not to taste his dish, he got dismayed by that, and when Clemenza started to cough a lot, he asked if the former was all right and called him a mess. He was the sixth person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Briana. It's unknown what he made, but Ramsay said he nailed the seasoning. He tied the round with Briana. The blue team eventually lost the challenge 3-5, and they were punished by cleaning up both kitchens.

During dinner service, Patrick was on the garnish station. At one point, he recited the order back to Tavon and Royce, but when the men struggled on their first table, he and Justin were trying their best to serve out anything as he accused Tavon of going down in flames. However, despite hoping to turn that night around, Justin served raw scallops, but when Tavon admitted to slicing the scallops horribly, he accused the former of mutilating the scallops. The blue team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, he suggested Tavon and Royce as they were on the appetizer station, and were the ones who completely fucked them from the start.

He was not nominated for elimination.[1]

Episode 2[]

During the Scallop Challenge, Patrick was not seen during the scallop gathering and was paired up with Chris. Their first attempt was rejected for having a smaller scallop and a larger scallop on the same plate, but they got their second attempt accepted. While they brought up their third attempt, they were not fast enough and the blue team lost the challenge 2-6. They were punished by cleaning up the ice from the front entrance, prepping prawns for the following night’s service, and drinking a scallop shake. During the punishment, he commented that losing sucked, and refused to continue losing with a bunch of half-assed jabronis who were not pulling their own weight.

During dinner service, Patrick was on the fish station with Chris. He was not seen much, except for calling Don a dumbass after the latter failed to make a seven-inch pizza, both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, he was pissed that they could not cook scallops properly even after getting a scallop shake yesterday.

He was not nominated for elimination.[2]

Episode 3[]

Main article: Episode 1003 - 16 Chefs Compete

During the Immigrants Lunch Service Challenge, Patrick was on the grilled cheese station with Don. He was not seen much, except for helping Brian out on the sliders. The blue team lost the challenge, and when Ramsay ordered them to come up with a leader, he immediately volunteered and promised to take over the men. However, Ramsay told him that he would see it to believe it. The blue team was punished with hard labor at Ballona Wetlands, and he commented on how Hell’s Kitchen sucked when doing the punishments, and they were in a shit day as he tried to get the men to look positive. During the punishment, he told the men to break the branches down into smaller pieces, but Guy felt he was leading not by example, but by telling them what to do.

During prep, Patrick tried to lead the men during prep, but Royce felt he was not doing anything substantial, and the latter flipped him off after saying he sucked. However, he felt that Royce needed to calm down on his cockiness as the latter continued to show attitude. During dinner service, he was on the fish station. He was not seen much, except for feeling the men’s great energy level. The blue team won the service.[3]

Episode 4[]

Main article: Episode 1004 - 15 Chefs Compete

The next day, a group of dogs was let loose in the dorms, and their loud barking woke up the chefs, confusing Barbie. Once up, Sous Chef Scott gave them overalls to put on, and when the chefs arrived at a farm where there were sheep, Patrick asked what they were doing.

During the Creative Lamb Challenge, Patrick was seen getting down and dirty to grab his collar but expressed frustration when Clemenza simply walked to his sheep and grabbed a collar. Because the blue team was down a member, he was the lone chef that cooked the ground lamb, was the second person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against the pair of Roshni and Kimmie. He made a lamb and fennel sausage, felt that he had a better presentation than Roshni and Kimmie’s dish, and Ramsay liked the creativity and the combination. While he lost that round to the pair of Roshni and Kimmie, the blue team eventually won the challenge 3-2. They were rewarded with a VIP trip to the Hollywood Park racetrack, and when Clemenza asked for some cash to gamble, Ramsay gave them $100 to use and asked them not to spend it on hot dogs. During the reward, he agreed with Justin when the latter did not want to send somebody home that night as he wanted to stay focused that night.

During dinner service, Patrick was on the fish station with Brian. Before the men received their first order, he told Guy he loved him. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, he knew that the men sucked that night as most of them had their heads up their asses, and was not afraid of sending someone home just so the blue team could progress. He considered Don and Brian for elimination.

Patrick was not nominated for elimination, and after Don's elimination, he welcomed Roshni as a new teammate.[4]

Episode 5[]

Main article: Episode 1005 - 14 Chefs Compete

During the Mexican Cuisine Challenge, Patrick was the deciding vote between Royce and Brian's tacos, ultimately picking the former's. He made the enchilada, was the fourth person from the blue team to have his dish judged, and went up against Christina. He made a lobster enchilada, it was praised for its flavoring and having the spirit of Mexico, and he scored that round over Christina.

The blue team eventually lost the challenge 2-3, and they were punished by prepping for Mexican Night, which included making both the salsa and the tortilla by hand, and eating tripe for lunch. Back at the dorms, Patrick did not care for Brian's frustrations and welcomed Roshni to losing. During the punishment, he was disgusted by his meal, and later, Clemenza asked him a question, but he ignored him. That irritated Clemenza as he wanted to be the leader, but he argued he was trying to figure something out and said that if somebody wanted to ask to prep something, then they should not even be in a kitchen.

During the Mexican Night dinner service, Patrick was on the meat station with Royce. After Guy sent up poor steaks, Ramsay told him that the former has given up, and ordered him to control the situation. While he felt Ramsay was expecting more of him, he was ready to take the lead. Later, he put his chicken back in the oven for another minute just as Guy sliced his steak. Guy blamed him for screwing him on that, and Ramsay decided to kick the two out of the kitchen, making him tear up as he never been kicked out before.

During the post-mortem, Ramsay asked Patrick if he was tired due to being the oldest chef in the competition, but while he said that he was not, Ramsay retorted he was tired of him. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two people each for elimination. During deliberation, Royce and Brian considered him for elimination for screwing the team from the start, but he felt they were basing it on strategy, and called his teammates' vultures ready to feast on his carcass.

Patrick was named the blue team's first nominee for elimination, with Guy as the second, and they joined Barbie and Danielle from the red team. During his plea, he felt he had been consistent up until now, and admitted that putting the chicken back into the oven was a poor judgment call, before promising to never make it again. However, Ramsay accused him of being beat, but he disagreed with that notion. After Barbie was sent back in line, the episode ended on a cliffhanger before Ramsay could go any further.[5]

Episode 6/7[]

Main article: Episode 1006 - 13 Chefs Compete Part 1
Main article: Episode 1007 - 13 Chefs Compete Part 2

Continuing from the previous episode, Ramsay sent Patrick back in line, therefore surviving elimination. On their way back to the dorms, he recalled how Ramsay accused him of being beaten and tired, but felt he was geared up, amped, and ready to win. Back at the patio, Royce confronted him of failing to step up as the blue team’s leader, and called him an old man for not thinking quicker, even volunteering to become the new leader. However, he argued that the blue team has become stronger since he became the leader, but while Royce acknowledged that, he felt he was taking lefts when the rest of the team took rights. That led to him cursing out Royce, felt that nobody trusted him and that the latter would betray them as nobody had faith in him. The next day, he was irritated after Royce flirted with Kimmie as it convinced him the former was too immature to become a leader.

When the chefs saw some models come out in different clothing and different foods, Patrick was dismayed about the concept of reinterpreting fondue as he disliked that dish. When the Fashion Night Planning Challenge was revealed, he said he felt he was fashionable despite the fact he had no idea about fashion and that his wife did his wardrobe. After Brian and Justin revealed their foam component, he himself commented that he would never do a foam component. He was paired up with Roshni on the poultry entrée, they were the second pair from the blue team to have their dish judged, and went up against the pair of Tiffany and Barbie. He presented their Moroccan spice influenced squab, but when he mentioned that the vinegar would thin out the mucus of the squab, it stunned everybody as Brian was dismayed he said that Ramsay reminded him that they were not supposed to turn off their guests, and a dismayed Patrick called it the dumbest thing he had ever said before facepalming and imitating a gunshot to his head. Even though David Meister felt the sauce looked too much like a blob, the dish was praised for having an interesting taste and having kale but criticized for having no kick to the flavor. They won that round against the pair of Tiffany and Barbie, and the blue team won the challenge 2-1.

The blue team was rewarded with a $1000 shopping spree at the M. Fredric boutique along with a wine tasting excursion at the Rosenthal Estate. During the reward, Patrick revealed he used to live in Nappa for a bit before describing the taste of the wine. However, that annoyed Guy and Justin as they wanted to enjoy themselves.

Before service began, Clemenza was caught cooking four portions of scallops before the doors had open, and Patrick felt the latter would get sent home immediately.[6] During the Fashion Night dinner service, he was at the dessert station. When service began, he reminded the blue team about the models that would be shown that night, and Brian said Ramsay would be his blinder. When Clemenza and Guy were struggling with scallops, he was annoyed by the hold up on scallops. After Ramsay called out both teams on their dreadful timings, he promised Ramsay they would redeem themselves and wanted the second part to be better than the first part. During the swimsuit show, his eyes widen, but when Guy charred a filet due to being distracted, he accused the latter of tuning out on such a simple thing to do, and Ramsay ordered the blue team to wake up. While he felt there should be no problems Clemenza could have on his own challenge dish, one of the latter's swordfishes was overcooked and rubbery to the point of sticking to the tray. He walked the refire up, and it was accepted. After Guy served a raw and cold filet, he was annoyed how they were making rookie mistakes.

The blue team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Patrick considered Clemenza for elimination, but while that angered the latter, he used the scallop hold up as his deciding factor. Then, Justin considered Guy as the blue team’s second nominee, and he agreed to that. However, Clemenza suggested him as a nominee for not helping when fish got hit the most, despite helping everywhere else, but that irritated him as he felt he was vocal that night.

Patrick was not nominated for elimination, and when Ramsay asked him who should go home that night, he said Clemenza.[7]

Episode 8[]

Main article: Episode 1008 - 12 Chefs Compete

Back at the dorms, Patrick told Clemenza that he never doubted his heart, but it was all to play it safe as he had no use for the latter and planned on taking him out whenever the chance came.

During the Dome Challenge, Patrick grabbed pork tenderloin for his dish, and while he felt the blue team was happy with their ingredients, he noticed the red team grabbing for their ingredients without communicating, before asking what was wrong with them. After Brian made everybody cringe when he spoke both poor Italian and Spanish, he felt the former did not think before he speaks. He was the fifth person from the blue team to have their dish judged and went up against Robyn. He made a spice-rubbed pork tenderloin, it was praised for the sauce component and the pork, and he scored 6 stars. The blue team lost the challenge 29-30, and they were punished by cleaning up the dorms and prepping for that night’s dinner service.

During dinner service, Patrick was on the fish station. At one point, he sent up stone-cold lobster, and Royce accused him of acting like he never cooked before as Ramsay ordered him to get a grip. While he was trying not to get rattled by his earlier mistake. his refire was raw again, and it served to be the final straw as Ramsay kicked the blue team out of the kitchen. The blue team lost the service, with Ramsay calling him out on his raw lobster, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, he said that by that point, they needed to look at who would not help the team anymore and asked who the weakest links were. Then, he admitted to his mistakes, but wanted to divert attention away and onto other people, before nominating Clemenza and Brian for their problems on appetizers. While a pissed Clemenza called it insanity, he said that it took a long time to get their first table out despite Brian arguing that he did not hold up the kitchen that night. That led Brian to accuse him of overlooking his own mistakes, before being considered for elimination.

Patrick was not nominated for elimination but was called up with Roshni as Ramsay decided to overrule the initial nominees, Brian and Clemenza. During his plea, he felt he was getting the blue team focused, and that he was not done despite making mistakes. However, Ramsay reminded him that he was looking for his performance and not his speaking. Despite getting a vote from Royce, he survived elimination. While being dismissed, he felt Royce was out to get him, and felt the latter would be a future liability before hoping to see him go home.[8]

Episode 9/10[]

Main article: Episode 1010 - 11 Chefs Compete Part 2

Back at the dorms, Patrick felt on bad terms with Royce, saying he was sneaky, leading to the latter reminding him that he fucked up the lobster, until he called Royce a prick and saying someone would fuck him up. The next day, he listened to Kimmie's rap.

During the Creative Steak Challenge, Patrick went up against Dana, and their ingredients were flat iron, potatoes, mushroom, spinach, and blue cheese. During the cooking, he wanted to outshine Dana, but his problem was having traditional steakhouse ingredients and wanted to twist them up for creativity. He was the third person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay and presented his seared flat iron with a roasted wild mushroom potato hash and blue cheese cream sauce. It was criticized for tasting overly salty, and being ill-conceived as the blue cheese was naturally salty. So, neither he nor Dana scored a point. The blue team eventually won the challenge 3-2, and they were rewarded with a shopping spree at Sur la Table and lunch at Comme Ca. During the reward, he tried to act as the father due to being the oldest of the men when his teammates joked around.

When the blue team came back from their reward, Patrick felt the tension the women were showing. The next day, he talked to pictures of his kids, calling it very emotional to be away from his family, while also knowing they knew he was there for a reason before refusing to go anywhere. Before service began, he planned on that night being the one he earned Ramsay’s praise and get back on track, and felt amped.[9]

During the Steak-Family Night dinner service, Patrick was on the meat station. On entrées, he wanted to show that he meant business, especially as it was Steak Night for a chance to lead Ramsay’s steakhouse. However, his hanger steak was not seared, mostly looking boiled. Then, he sent up his refire, and after feeling he had it in himself, Ramsay accepted it. On the next order, he acknowledged Ramsay’s callout but soon got confused as he thought it was two filets instead of three, and a frustrated Ramsay booted him out from the kitchen for some fresh air before reassigning Justin to meat. In the dining room, a frustratingly berated himself for his boneheaded mistake despite his mistakes but refused to give up and could rejoin the men in the blue kitchen. Ramsay quizzed him on the order, but despite having a fire inside of him, one of his filets was rare, and was forced to walk two of them, much to Ramsay’s dismay. Things got worse when he was forced to walk up the raw filet, and after Justin confirmed that it was not the same dish served to him the day before, Ramsay kicked him out of the kitchen. As Brian accused him of cooking inside his head scared that night, he tearfully apologized to his family photos as he kept letting them down, while being frustrated that he was blowing it.

Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Brian and Clemenza considered Patrick for elimination, he admitted that he screwed up that night for himself and the blue team, but knew he was better than that and wanted to come back strong.

Patrick was the blue team's first nominee for elimination, with Royce as the second, and they joined Tiffany and Robyn from the red team. During his plea, he said he was a professional and was fighting through the rust on the line, but when Ramsay asked him what he had left, he felt he could command the kitchen. However, Ramsay revealed that he would get nervous every time his back was facing him as he was not delivering the goods, but he begged him not to give up on him. He was eliminated for his poor performance on meat, and being on his third nomination overall. During his exit interview, he knew he had higher expectations coming in, and while his family would be disappointed to see him not win, it would be great to see them again.

Ramsay's comment: "Patrick talked a good game, but he couldn't back it up with his cooking so it was time for him to leave Hell's Kitchen." [10]

During dinner service, Patrick was on the garnish station. After Dana served overcooked halibut and denied anything wrong with it, he accused her of screwing the pooch big time. Then, he noticed the frazzleness in Dana's eyes and prayed that it would happen now. Later, during the final ticket, he and Kimmie had their food up at the pass while Dana’s pork was raw in the middle. Christina eventually won the finals over Justin.[12]
