The contestants flew into Los Angeles to compete at Hell's Kitchen. Soon, the chefs met up on the bus going to Hell's Kitchen. What they did not know was Ramsay was in the bus with them, in disguise. Eventually, the contestants arrived at Hell's Kitchen, greeted by Jean-Philippe. After some hellos, Jean-Philippe claimed he was good at making an impression of Ramsay, which he did by calling out orders and yelling at them. After he did, Jean-Philippe asked Shayna and Jason to do their impressions themselves. After that, Jean-Philippe called up the disguised Ramsay, who spoke in his natural voice. While the chefs were initially impressed by the acting, they quickly realized that something was up. Ramsay revealed himself, which excited every contestant. After that, Ramsay instructed the chefs to create their signature dishes as he wanted to see how well they could cook as well as they talked on the bus.
During the Signature Dish Challenge, Louross was the thirteenth contestant to have his dish judged by Ramsay. There is no information whatsoever about what he made, just Ramsay saying that he could have done a lot more. After hearing the grand prize, he wanted to win as that would make him a triple L. Then, Ramsay asked both teams to name a team captain for the opening night. While everyone on the blue team wanted to be the team captain, Bobby was picked.
During dinner service, Louross was assigned as the floater. In a rant by Ramsay, he was compared to a toilet brush running around. After tasting a disgusting sauce, he, disappointed that his team never tasted their food, started to be more vocal and gave out direction. Ramsay asked Bobby to lend his captain badge to him as he had a set of balls to direct the team. However, Bobby argued he was not the person who complained about losing leadership as he was still a Four-Star General. He gave clear instructions to his team, relieving Ramsay. His leadership gave new life to the team in the blue kitchen as Jason finally got his appetizers correct.
The blue team lost the service, but because Louross tried to get the blue kitchen back on track, Ramsay named him "Best of the Worst" and asked him to choose two of his teammates for elimination. During deliberation, he said the men died from no communication and energy, which he found embarrassing. Dominic told him that he did everything people asked him to do but knew he did poorly. When he talked to Jason, the latter said he did poorly but so did everyone else. However, he knew Jason had a miserable night and was in a tough spot over who to nominate. Later, Jason told Bobby that it was them as nominees that night.
Louross nominated Bobby as his first nominee, and Dominic as his second.[1]

After a night with very little sleep, the contestants were woken up the following morning by the Sous Chefs. They held megaphones and told them to get outside immediately. Arriving outside, Ramsay declared that any restaurant would have hit bankruptcy with all the amount of food wasted on the previous night. Ramsay called over a dump truck and ordered them to take every wasted food and put it in the cylinders to give the chefs a better understanding of what they trashed last night. After a few minutes, Ramsay told them to get back in line up the stairs and declared they should be ashamed as they put thousands of dollars in the trash during the last service. Ramsay warned them to start giving a damn and told them to clean up and change.
During the 6-Ounce Halibut Challenge, Louross told Petrozza to make love to the fish. He planned on being the loud boy for the men. The blue team won the challenge after a tie at 41-each. They were They were rewarded with a day on a 100-foot superyacht and were transported in Rolls-Royce and Bentleys. While getting ready, he entertained his teammates by walking around the dorms with woman's boots and boxers. Everybody laughed, and Ben even called him crazy.
During dinner service, Louross was on the appetizer station with Bobby. At one point, he quickly became vocal and led his team, who felt motivated. The blue team won the service.[2]

The following day, the contestants were awakened by chickens running around in the dorms. Calling from the P.A., Ramsay told them to get up, grab a chicken, and come down to the dining room. Louross sat out of the Chicken Cutting Challenge to even the teams at six each. The blue team eventually lost the challenge 24-44 because of a disastrous performance by Craig. They were punished by picking peppers on a 100-acre farm, wearing farmers' clothes and hats under the hot temperature of the sun. He called the bus they road ganky looking and heard the motor stutter when it started.
During dinner service, Louross was on the garnish station. An hour and a half into service, he went to get Jason back for desserts, but the latter was about to give up as he did not like the way Ramsay was putting him in the spot like that. However, he convinced Jason to get down anyway and do it, which the latter did. Moments later, Matt failed to communicate with him, so Ramsay asked them to. After that, he told Matt how to communicate with him properly. When Matt did, he thanked him. On desserts, he helped Jason by telling him that his crème brulées were ready, which the latter did not believe. Both teams were named joint losers, and Petrozza was named "Best of the Worst".
He was not nominated for elimination.[3]
Episode 4[]

After Ben was called a punk by Ramsay back at the dorms, Louross acknowledged he was now digging into the personal level. Moments later, Ramsay spoke into the microphone and ordered them to clean the kitchens as he refused to leave them in a disgusting mess. The following day, he agreed with Bobby's nomination of Ben being the strongest chef of the blue team. When Ramsay announced that he was hosting a Family Night that night, he was taken aback.
During the Pasta Making Challenge, Louross schooled Craig for not holding the dough properly, and told him how to do it correctly. When the men momentarily weighed in at 1.67lbs, he was worried as that was a low number. The blue team lost the challenge 5.48 lbs-6.57 lbs and they were punished by prepping all the new menu items, all day long, for both kitchens. On their way back to the dorms, he blamed Craig for not being a team player. During the punishment, he, Craig, and Matt jokingly hoped the rides would break on the women.
During the Family Night dinner service, Louross was at the appetizer station. On the first ticket, he communicated well with Matt, and sent some appetizers out. Near the end of service, he was seen trying to give the men a pep talk. When the red team came in to help the blue team, he gave another pep talk to everyone. The blue team lost the service, and Bobby was named "Best of the Worst".
He was not nominated for elimination.[4]
Episode 5[]

The next morning, when the teams were lined up in the dining room, Louross was asked by Ramsay what he had on his mind that morning, which he answered it was game time. During the Fine Dining Pizza Challenge, the blue team eventually agreed on Ben's pizza to be the one judged by Ramsay for the team. Unfortunately, it lost over Jen's pizza, and they were punished by prepping all the pizzas for the next dinner service, in both kitchens. When Petrozza put his hand on his shoulder, he aggressively pushed him back, telling he was pissed because of the loss.
Before the punishment, Ramsay gave the blue team a pep talk in the kitchen, and Louross was seen being very emotional, walking around the kitchen while having a white towel on his head. Ramsay asked him what was the matter, but he answered he was fine. During the punishment, he and Ben got into an argument, where Ben called him a bitch, and both of them told the other one was breaking down.
Before dinner service, the men were still divided, making Louross ask God for a miracle. During dinner service, he was on the meat station. He convinced his team to give Bobby the quail eggs because he was asking them. An hour and a half into service, when the blue team moved on to entrées, his first steaks were undercooked, and Ramsay asked him to get them back in the pan. When Ramsay asked him if he could cook a steak, which he answered he could, Ramsay asked him why he was not doing it then. When he brought his second attempt, Sous Chef Scott told him they were overcooked, and told him he fucked it up and tried to get it passed him. So, he was looking for some beautifully cooked steaks, along with Petrozza. When he could not find any, Petrozza got an idea and brought back the steaks that were deemed overcooked, and secretly sliced off the burnt sides of the steaks. But, Louross was not convinced it would work. But, when Petrozza sent the steaks to the pass, Sous Chef Scott accepted them, saying it was much better, and impressing Louross, who said it was the "ghettoest" thing it could ever happen in a kitchen. After that, he was relieved.
The blue team managed to complete dinner service, and when the teams were lined up, Ramsay told Louross his performance was surprising, but adding it was surprising because he was crap, deplorable, and seems uninterested during the service, which was shocking. Ramsay also added it was a surprise because before the service that night, he was good. However, Ramsay named both teams joint-winners, and they were told to nominate one member each for elimination. During deliberation, he took the blame for his disastrous performance, telling he disappointed everybody, from his team to himself to Ramsay.
Louross was the blue team's nominee, and joined Christina from the red team. He survived elimination as Vanessa already left earlier that episode, and both teams successfully completed service for the first time. While being dismissed, he said that because he was a small Filipino man, he would get criticized and underestimated no matter what.[5]
Episode 6[]

While going back to the dorms, Louross was congratulated by Christina for having survived elimination and was padded on the shoulders by Ben. However, he said that Ben calling him the weakest link of the team was high school crap. Moments later, he was talking with Matt on the patio, where the latter expressed his dislike for his teammates.
The next morning, the contestants were driven to Farmers Market, where Ramsay introduced the Sweet 16 Planning Challenge. During the shopping part, the blue team ignored Matt's suggestions. The blue team eventually won the challenge 2-1 and were rewarded with a go-kart activity at Malibu Speed Zone, and fine-dining treats tasting with Ramsay at the Simon LA restaurant. Louross really enjoyed that last part of the reward.
When the blue team came back from their reward, Louross and Corey started flirting with each other, with both of them saying they loved the other. When Corey stripped to jump in the hot tub, he followed her, but no romance was building up as he was not interested.
During the Sweet 16 dinner service, Louross was on the appetizer station with Bobby. Before orders came in, both of them were confident and gave each other a triple low-five. When he sent the first chicken wings to the pass, Ben brought the sauce a few moments later and celebrated with him. Both teams were named joint-winners but were asked to nominate one member each.
Louross was not nominated for elimination, and during Matt's plea, Ramsay referred to him saying his balls were bigger than Matt's. Finally, the blue team gleefully said goodbye to Matt, who has just been transferred to the red team.[6]
Episode 7[]
- Main article: Episode 407 - 9 Chefs Compete
The next morning, after tasting some fake dishes, where everybody failed to identify the meatless ingredients, Ramsay introduced the annual Blind Taste Test. During the challenge, Louross went second for his team and faced up against his best friend Corey. However, he gave one of the worst performances by scoring no point, and the blue team lost the challenge 5-9. They were punished by cleaning up the dorms, from returning the beds to washing the toilet bowls.
During dinner service, Louross was on the appetizer station. Before the first ticket was called out, he was confident, even pumping up his teammates. 45 minutes in, he and Bobby were working on their first scallop appetizer, but he said he needed five minutes for his quail eggs to be ready despite Bobby already being ready. That infuriated Ramsay, who told him to hurry up. Later, he managed to redeem himself by sending an impressive Caesar salad. He received a compliment from Ramsay, who said every one of his portions had to be like that one. and he enjoyed that compliment and a moment of pride to himself.
Despite his decent performance, the blue team lost the service, and each member was asked to nominate one person for elimination. During deliberation, Louross categorically refused to nominate himself after Ben tried to convince his teammates to do so. In the end, he and Ben nominated each other. While giving an explanation on why he was nominating Ben, he started to feel anger when recalling the latter's plan that all the blue team would nominate themselves. When he finished his explanation, being relieved, Ramsay said he told enough, and joked that he had just grown two more inches. He survived elimination.[7]
Episode 8[]

Back in the dorms, after learning that one member of the red team would come in the blue team the following morning, Louross stated he did not have any problems with the women and would gleefully welcome another team member. But, he also reminded his teammates that despite that, they would have to stand their own grounds. The next morning, Jen announced herself to be transferred to the blue team, which he felt comfortable with. He even said that he was curious to see how Jen was working in a kitchen.
During the 20 Ingredients Challenge, Louross was suggested by Jen to do a Surf n Turf with Bobby's veal, but he did not feel comfortable about it, saying Surf n Turf was not his thing. When he plated his dish, he was not satisfied with his veal, and when time was up, he acknowledged he forgot it, infuriating him. Because of that, Jen tried to convince him to lie and tell he used five ingredients instead of four. He categorically refused to, saying it would haunt him forever. During the judging, he was the last person of his team to present his dish, going against Rosann. He made a red snapper with an oyster-mushroom sauce. Ramsay liked the dish for the taste of the quail and the overall presentation, but when he announced he only used 4 ingredients, Ramsay became furious as that made the total of the blue team at only 19 ingredients instead of 20. Ramsay berated the blue team, saying they failed miserably, and they were automatically disqualified.
The blue team was punished by participating in Laundry Day. Louross felt extremely guilty for that loss, and apologized to Petrozza. Then, he went in the hallway to think about the loss, being very emotional and saying he was such an idiot. During the punishment, Jen continued to bully him for his mistake and throwing him under the bus, despite the fact that he already admitted his mistake. However, he stated that he did not care what she was thinking of him, and that he was not scared.
During prep, Louross and Jen were constantly picking at each other, with Jen telling him what to do. When both teams were lined up, Ramsay announced that two of the United States' finest food critics would be attending in the dining room.
During dinner service, Louross was on the fish station. When him and Jen were working on their first appetizers, he acknowledged that, because he messed up the previous challenge, if he would perform badly, he would be the one sent home. Jen sent her first risotto, but he was thirty seconds behind. Despite that, he managed to send his first scallops just in time, and Ramsay deemed them beautiful. Ramsay also urged him to keep all of his scallops that way, making him extremely proud of himself. Both critics enjoyed his scallop appetizers. Later, he was forced to cook his salmon faster, after Petrozza made the mistake of slicing his beef too early. He said he needed one more minute, and when he sent his salmon with Petrozza's beef, they were accepted and served to the customers. On the next ticket, he tried to motivate Petrozza, who was struggling on meat. When he sent his order of salmon to the critics, it received better reviews than Christina's. Near the end, because the red team was kicked out, the blue team was asked to finish their tickets, which they successfully did. They won the dinner service by a mile over the red team.[8]
Episode 9[]
- Main article: Episode 409 - 7 Chefs Compete
The next morning, when both teams were lined up, Ramsay introduced the Relay Challenge, which would test the chefs' communication and timing. Because the blue team was one member more than the red team, Louross sat out after Jen convinced Bobby and Petrozza. He was furious about that decision and questioned Jen's judgment saying that if he really got no skills, why was he still in the competition. When Ramsay asked who was sitting out, he angrily raised his hand, and Ramsay was surprised because he was moving fast in the kitchen, which he responded he was as well. During Jen's turn, he stated that as long as she was putting herself on top saying her dishes are flawless and perfect, he would love her to prove herself.
The blue team eventually lost the challenge 1-2, and were punished by being the Hell's Kitchen maintenance crew, spending all day taking care of the restaurant, cleaning the red carpets as well. Louross was envious as he wanted to go to the beach as well. Because he wanted the punishment to be fun, when the team put some white suits on, he entertained his teammates by putting the suit all over his head and walking around that way, despite Jen saying she was more laughing at him than with him. When the red team arrived from their reward, he was furious when they were walking on the red carpet as he just finished steaming it, complaining that nobody was listening to him.
The next morning, both teams lined up in the dining room, where Ramsay announced they would get rid of the menu for the next service, and that both teams would create their own menus. For the blue team, Jen was dictating the process, not listening to her teammates' ideas and only putting her inputs. Louross was so annoyed by her attitude that at one point, he stopped writing down and lid himself a cigarette. At the end, he even stated it was not a blue team's menu and that it was a Jen's menu. Back in the kitchen, when he recited the blue team's menu, he noticed Ramsay's questioning facial expressions, but he understood why he was making those faces. Then, he told that most of the ideas came from Jen, and when Ramsay asked him if he was happy with the menu, he answered he was not really. After, Ramsay ordered the blue team to change some of the items and urged him to find his voice and put some things. The second menu was deemed better by Ramsay. During prep, Jen asked him why he did not say what he thought at the right moment, and he answered that nobody was listening to him, while Petrozza acknowledged he could be more vocal.
During dinner service, Louross was on the meat station. He served a steak order when the blue team moved on to entrées, but it was sent back to the kitchen a few moments later for being undercooked. When Ramsay told him about the mistake, he showed a clearly disappointed face, leading Ramsay to mimic him and tell that if his cooking was as good as his acting, he would be talented. He acknowledged he was going downhill when another order came back. Ramsay asked him, along with Jen, to touch it, got on his knees and told it was raw, calling him a fucking idiot in the process. Then, a minor fire erupted on his station, and another steak dish came back. So, Ramsay told him he was putting his team in the shit. He declared he was now hating the word "filet mignon", and stated that if he would ever see another filet mignon again, he would throw it at somebody's face. Then, Ramsay threatened him with the shutdown of the kitchen if another steak would come back. Later, he finally delivered a properly cooked steak, but the table who ordered it already left. Ramsay became furious, ripped that table's ticket and threw it at him. Because of that, he declared he had never been that disappointed at himself in his life. He also added it was the first time a table walked out on him.
After service, both teams were lined up and Ramsay reminded Louross that the meat station went down in flames because of him. The blue team lost the dinner service, and Petrozza was named "Best of the Worst". During deliberation, Petrozza pulled him aside, and he told Petrozza that it would be poison if he would go home over Jen because of her attitude.
Louross was Petrozza's first nominee for elimination, with Jen being the second. Ramsay surprised everybody by giving Petrozza the decision of who should go home. Petrozza said that he should go over Jen, which Ramsay agreed with. Therefore, he was eliminated for being the worst performer of the night and lacking cooking abilities.
Ramsay's comment: "Louross was never short on energy. He was just short... on cooking ability." [9]

Louross was the fifth returning chef to enter the kitchen when they were introduced to the finalists by Ramsay, and a flashback of him telling his teammates to make love to the halibut during the second episode's challenge was shown. He was Christina's second pick after she declared she needed some energy in her kitchen, a decision which Ramsay told she definitely got energy in him. He followed Corey and was followed by Matt.[10]
On the patio, Louross was dedicated to the appetizer station by Christina because of his energy. During prep, he laughed when Christina said that Jen was asking Ramsay for a letter of recommendation, not believing it and questioning Jen judgment by asking if she was serious. Minutes before opening, he was confident and ready to go help Christina win.
During dinner service, Louross was on the appetizer station. When Christina called her first ticket out, he called back "Yes Chef" very loudly, being excited to work for her. He was given four minutes for his first appetizer to be ready, and a few minutes later, he declared he was walking with the salads at the moment. He brought his salads at the same time Corey brought her sliders to the pass. Later, he was a little behind the rest of the team, saying that he was still on the first order. Ramsay schooled him by telling to speed up, and he declared he needed help. So, Christina dedicated Matt to help him with the salads, but he was annoyed by his help, saying he was asking stupid questions. When Matt dropped a salad bowl on his way to the hot plate, he was annoyed by Matt's careless behavior. Later, he helped Christina to calm Matt down, saying he had to focus on his things instead of being disrespectful. Finally, he helped his team sending out desserts and completing service for Christina.
After service, Ramsay congratulated both teams for a good service and everybody gave a big round of applause. Louross hugged Christina and wished her luck before she went back to the dorms. Eventually, Christina won the finals over Petrozza.[11]
