Policies and guidelines are in place to ensure the quality of Hell's Kitchen Wiki in order to further our goal of becoming a freely editable Hell's Kitchen database.

Ultimately, policies need to be taken with common sense. Go with the spirit of the rules rather than the letter of the rules, and be prepared to ignore the rules on the rare occasions when they conflict with the goal of improving the wiki.
