Season 9[]

Episode 1[]

Main article: Episode 901 - 18 Chefs Compete

During the introduction of the season, Elise was one of the five chefs who were seen receiving their acceptance letter, and she promised her family that she would win.

When the chefs arrived in Los Angeles, they were greeted by James on the bus ride, and then, it pulled over to the Orpheum Theatre, where they would be given a standing ovation by a live audience. However, when the curtain was pulled up, they discovered that the room was completely empty, much to their disappointment, before Ramsay revealed himself applauding very slowly. After the latter revealed the grand prize of the season, the chefs were asked to get back to Hell's Kitchen and cook their signature dishes.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Elise declared that she was not afraid to fight back and that everybody should watch for themselves, she was the sixth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and went up against Chino. Her scallops were cooked perfectly, and she won the round over Chino.

The red team lost the challenge 5-6, and they were punished by cleaning both kitchens for the opening night. During the punishment, Elise boasted that she scored a point and was still doing punishment, claimed that she was upset about that, and threw Krupa and Carrie under the bus by thinking that they sunk the red team, even thinking that they would be on the reward if it was not for those two.

The next day, both teams went to the kitchens to begin prepping for the opening night, they were given their ankle knives set, and during prep, Elise vocally rallied the red team. During dinner service, she was on the appetizer station with Elizabeth. When Ramsay called the first ticket, she started to shout over him, much to his frustration, and he berated and ordered her to call the ticket out for him, which she did. Moments later, she was not ready with her risotto when Carrie sent her scallops, and when she sent her risotto to the pass, it was too liquidy, Ramsay compared it to a rice pudding, and schooled her about not caring for his standards, saying that he would stop caring about her. Then, Krupa volunteered to help her, but she was not convinced that she was better than herself, even stating that she would beat Krupa with a blindfold on and a broken arm. However, when Krupa delivered a perfect risotto, she was lost for words. Later, she was watching Carrie delivering unacceptable scallops, told that Carrie should get her shit together, and when the latter was working on her third attempt, she jumped on fish uninvited, and stole Carrie's job by declaring that she was a weaker cook than herself and that she stole her job because she wanted to impress Ramsay. Then, she told that she grabbed her pan because she was a team player, Ramsay reminded her that she had to cook appetizers for a six-top, before ordering her to bench at the chef's table, much to Krupa's amusement. Eventually, customers walked out, and the service was shut down.

When both teams were lined up, Elise had an argument with Carrie as she felt the latter threw her under the bus about the risotto, reminded her that her scallops came back twice, and claimed that she was trying to help her when she jumped on the fish station. The red team won the service.[1]

The next morning, the chefs were woken up by a young guitarist and very loud amplifiers, and they were ordered to get outside. Arrived there, Ramsay introduced the Meat & Grill Challenge, where each pair would have to cook a medium-rare New York strip, a medium rib-eye, a medium-well filet mignon, and a well-done burger. During the challenge, Elise was paired with Carrie, and when the countdown began, she was already bossing her by telling her to back off. Both of them were seen arguing and butting heads all challenge long, they were the second pair to compete for the red team, and they only scored with their filet mignon. She claimed that it was Carrie's fault as she was just hanging around and bitching, but it was revealed that she was the one who cooked every piece of meat.

The red team lost the challenge 10-11, and they were punished by cleaning the grills, taking a delivery of a whole cow, and drinking a protein shake made from the meat used during the challenge. After they learned the blue team's reward, Ramsay acknowledged that she and Carrie screwed it for the red team, and during the punishment, she bashed against Carrie, saying that just the sight of her was making her want to punch her. When the women were drinking their meat shakes, she believed that Carrie had plenty of meat in her mouth as the latter was the only one who did not seem disgusted by the shake, and later, they were prepping their kitchen while she rallied her teammates to review the menu. When Elizabeth revealed that she did not know what was in the egg batter put over the Wellingtons, she whistled contemptuously, but did not feel at a disadvantage as she knew that the men were not thinking about the next service while being drunk. When the blue team came back from their reward, the women studied the menu further, but she was amused when Carrie was flirting with Brendan, even calling her a skank.

The next day, during prep, Elise organized the station with her teammates and vocally rallied them all day long. During dinner service, she was on the meat station with Amanda. At one point, she decided to lead her teammates vocally by yelling orders out loud, much to Natalie's annoyance, and when Ramsay asked for a time, she called ten minutes, but quickly corrected herself by calling ten seconds. However, when she did, she pointed Ramsay with her tongs, annoying him who told her he was not a dog, and when she interrupted him while he was talking, she was called down, told to shut her big fat mouth, and to not point at him. When she went back to her station, she stayed quiet, much to Jennifer's relief. Moments later, she was determined to lead vocally as she did not want to lose, and when she did, entrées were leaving the kitchen at a good pace.

The red team won the service, and at elimination, they were asked for a volunteer to be transferred to the blue team the next morning.[2]

Episode 3[]

Main article: Episode 903 - 15 Chefs Compete

Back in the dorms, the women discussed who should be transferred to the blue team, but when Amanda suggested that either her or Carrie should switch, Elise refused by reminding that Ramsay asked for a volunteer and that she did not want to. In the end, the women agreed on Carrie, which made everybody happy.

The next morning, the chefs were woken up by clowns, and when both teams were lined up in the dining room, Sous Chef Scott revealed that they were woken up by clowns because they were cooking like clowns. After taking a delivery of naan bread with the other chefs, Elise and her teammates said goodbye to Natalie, who was transferred to the blue team instead of Carrie.

During the Mommy & Me Lunch Service Challenge, Elise immediately asked for somebody to do the quesadillas, declared that she was over losing challenges, and moments later, she aggressively told Carrie that she was just running around frazzled, which the latter did not agree with. Then, she tried to dictate Carrie by telling her to slice the sandwiches and to be organized, much to Carrie's annoyance, and when Krupa suggested to cut the sandwiches, she told that Carrie was not listening, but Carrie responded that she was just trying to get the shit done. She was annoyed by Carrie because she thought that she was just running around the kitchen like a chicken with the head cut off, and when Jamie discovered that things were missing on the quesadilla, she told that Carrie did it, which the latter admitted, and pushed the latter away by taking her job over. The red team failed to serve their last ticket before the blue team, and she already wanted to point fingers at their weakest link, before ordering Carrie to get off her space.

The red team lost the challenge, and when Ramsay asked the red team if they were crumbling because Natalie was gone, Elise immediately threw Carrie under the bus for running around the kitchen not knowing what to do, but Jamie quickly intervened by revealing that the real problem was both of them constantly arguing, which everybody else agreed with. They were punished by cleaning the dining room, prepping both kitchens for the Family Night dinner service, and setting up a playground for the children. During the punishment, she complained about the mess left by the children as her three-year-old son was not even that messy, and was seen being amused when Carrie was struggling to use the vacuum properly. Later, she expressed annoyance when the latter tried to organize the playground set up.

Back in the dorms, Elise trash talked about Carrie with Jennifer and Jamie, and when she told that Carrie did not do the béchamel sauce from scratch, the latter revealed herself and admitted that point. The next day, during prep, the red team was completely silent as they wanted to avoid the drama, even when she asked if anybody needed confit garlic.

During the Family Night dinner service, Elise was at the pizza station. The first pizza that she delivered was perfect, she was determined to bring her A-game, but when a minor fire erupted on the fish station, she acknowledged that Amanda was frazzled while being tired of babysitting people. Moments later, Amanda's bass was still raw, so she ordered her to put it back in the oven, and after Amanda did, she continued to push her aggressively. When Ramsay asked Amanda for a time on the bass, she answered three minutes for her while adding that she did not cook it, much to Amanda's annoyance, and Ramsay stopped the argument between both of them. Later, Amanda revealed that she forgot the cod, so she asked if there was somebody home, and warned Amanda that she would be nominated if she would not get it together. Later, she yelled at Carrie for not doing anything at the moment, much to the latter's annoyance, and when she asked for a time, Carrie answered one minute. When Carrie sent a raw lamb to the pass, she wondered if she did not have all her marbles, and that mistake caused the red team to go in the dining room to apologize to the customers, which she was humiliated about as she felt it was not her fault.

The red team was kicked out of the kitchen, lost the service by a mile, and back in the dorms, Elise knew that it was a good chance to get rid of Carrie. When the latter wanted to speak to her, she rudely rejected her talk request by saying that she could say everything she had to say on the chopping block, and asked her if she was on medication. Then, she started to bully Carrie by telling that she was living in another world, that she was nothing but a distraction, that she fucked up all night long, but that led to an argument between both of them over her disrespectful way of talking. Later, she blamed the meat station, and after Carrie told her that she would blame her anyway as she did not want her to be there, she rubbed salt in the wound even further by saying that she fucked up the entire night. The argument between both of them ended when she called Carrie crazy.

Elise was not nominated for elimination, and when Ramsay asked what happened after their great performance during the second service, she immediately threw Carrie under the bus, but Jamie revealed that her attitude and Carrie's was part of the problem. When Krupa revealed that she was pissed about the situation, she targeted the latter by saying that all she did was standing there, and Krupa confirmed her ego. While being dismissed, she disagreed with Amanda's elimination, was furious about the fact that Carrie was still there, and stated that she should have gone with Amanda.[3]

Episode 4[]

Main article: Episode 904 - 14 Chefs Compete

While going back to the dorms, Elise clearly showed her disagreement over Amanda's elimination as she had a lot of potential, and was extremely angry that Carrie, who she called a bitch, was still there. In the dorms, she bullied Carrie by saying to everybody that she sucked and that she would never improve, much to Carrie's annoyance, and continued by saying that she did nothing during service. Then, she targeted Krupa by calling her the second weakest link, which Krupa answered that she could suck it. In the bedroom, Krupa decided to move out because of her, but she was defended by Jennifer despite Krupa still not being convinced as she said a lot of nasty things to her. She retorted to Krupa that she only said that the naan bread she served as her signature dish was a piece of shit, much to Krupa's frustration, and when the latter told her to keep her opinions for herself, she continued by saying that she should not have moved into a house with fourteen other people if she did not want to hear other opinions. After that, Krupa left the room and the argument by targeting her attitude, and went to the room at the other end of the hallway, while she told Krupa had her nerve.

The next morning, the chefs were woken up by Sous Chefs Scott and Andi, who brought them special farm outfits to wear and were told to get outside. Arrived there, Ramsay introduced the Chicken Creation Challenge, and Elise was not seen much during the first part. During the second part, she was paired with Elizabeth, they worked on the roasted chicken course, and when the countdown began, she was already bossing Elizabeth after the latter poured more salt in the blender. After Gina revealed that her chicken was raw because of Carrie, she could not believe it, and declared that even though she had nothing against anybody, she called Carrie the common denominator almost all the time, before adding that everywhere she was going, it was horrendous. She and Elizabeth were the last pair from the red team to have their dish judged, she presented their "succulent" roasted chicken with butternut squash purée, Swiss chard, onions, and garlic, which was appreciated for the great colors and flavors, and when Ramsay asked whose idea it was, she tried to give all the credit for herself, much to Elizabeth's annoyance. Despite that, they won the round over Chino and Natalie, with Ramsay acknowledging that she did not like sharing, and during deliberation, she declared how tired she was of losing, before declaring that the red team had to get out of Hell's Kitchen before she would hurt somebody.

The red team won the challenge 3-2, and Elise was excited as she knew that her dish was the best, before remembering that Elizabeth also contributed to that dish. Also, she and Elizabeth were photographed with Ramsay for People magazine as their dish was deemed the best. The red team was rewarded with a go-kart activity at K1 Speed, and while going back to the dorms, she declared that it was the best day of her life. During the ride to the reward, she declared how happy she was about getting out of Hell's Kitchen, and arrived at K1 Speed, she revealed that she never rode in a go-kart before, but was still ready to kick butts. She qualified for the final race, along with Jamie and Carrie, as she had the third-fastest time, and when the race began, she immediately targeted Carrie by bumping into her, and declared that she would never have allowed Carrie to win. Despite all of her efforts to make sure that Carrie would not win, she finished third and Carrie finished second, while Jamie won the trophy. However, she claimed that she was happy as long as Carrie did not win.

During prep, Elise started to give attitude to Sous Chef Andi, which the latter did not appreciate and told her to stop talking like if she was her child. However, she continued to talk back to Sous Chef Andi despite the latter telling that she was in a position of authority over her, and when she condescendingly told Sous Chef Andi that she understood what she said, the latter called her out on her disrespectful behavior.

During dinner service, Elise was on the fish station with Jamie. She acknowledged the pressure that the chef's table was adding because of how close they were to the action, and was confident because Carrie was not on meat. Then, she called four minutes on her scallops, but when she sent them to the pass, they did not have any color and were rubbery and watery, and while he showed her how to properly cook them, she acknowledged that she better cook them right afterwards. Her second attempt was cooked perfectly, she was proud of herself as she succeeded to recover from her rough start. Later, she told Carrie that she was ready with her scallops, but Elizabeth was not with her appetizers, much to her dismay, before she blamed Carrie for calling it out. When Elizabeth and Carrie were ready to send their appetizers, she told that she had to start her scallops over, so she was urged by Carrie to hurry up. After that, she still needed seven minutes despite Gina already slicing her New York strip, and when she sent her sea bass to the pass, one piece was raw and the other was dry, Ramsay ordered her to get it back in the pan, and she was berated for not giving a championship performance. Then, she was asked by Ramsay who she would blame, which she answered nobody, and after a lot of mistakes, the red team was kicked out of the kitchen.

Both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate two people each. During deliberation, Elise immediately recalled the first service, which she claimed everybody was disappointing except herself despite Carrie disagreeing and threw the latter under the bus for her slow tableside work during the second service. Then, Carrie told her that the red team would be better if she was not running her mouth all the time, and declared war on her, which she accepted. Because of that, an intense argument erupted between both of them, where she exposed Carrie's weaknesses and bragged about the fact that she ran the meat station better than everybody else, and Carrie exposing her disrespectful way of talking to her.

Elise was the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Carrie being the first, and they joined Chino and Monterray from the blue team. When Carrie accused her of not being a team player, she interrupted her by saying that she improved and thought that her teammates would be more likely to see Carrie be eliminated instead of herself. Because of that statement, Ramsay asked the red team who they would rather see be eliminated between Elise and Carrie, and she received votes from everybody, even Natalie from the blue team, except Elizabeth. With those results, Ramsay told her that she better be eliminated because the red team wanted her out, but she retorted that she never made the same mistake twice, that it was her first nomination, that she was not there to throw anybody under the bus despite Monterray laughing about the fact that she just did, that she could work on her attitude, and finally, she targeted Carrie one more time by saying that she could not acquire common sense at 31. After deliberation, during which she started crying, she was sent back in line after Ramsay told her to stop crying, therefore surviving elimination. While being dismissed, she declared that the red team did not know with who they were fucking with as she thought they hated a winner, referring to herself.[4]

Episode 5[]

Back at the dorms, Jonathon and Elise exchanged "I love yous" to each other as she believed the red team nominated her for being the strongest chef, which she called strategy, before denying to Jamie that she was mad. However, when she said that she now knew that she had no friends in the red team, Jamie reminded her that it was about professionalism, only for her to ask why they wanted to keep Carrie around when she sucked at challenges. Jamie answered that it was because of her mouth, which kept getting them into trouble every service, but she argued that she only argued with Carrie and deemed herself a winner for making it far in the industry, before warning the red team that they awoke a dragon.

During the Fire and Water Challenge, Elise tried to push for Elizabeth’s dish over Carrie's for a better presentation, but Ramsay chewed her out for not even tasting the dishes. Despite that, she, knowing from history, did not want Carrie’s dish to cost the red team yet another challenge. She cooked with the lobster, was the fifth person from the red team to have her dish judged, and went up against Paul. She made a poached lobster in béarnaise sauce, it was deemed rubbery, and she lost that round to Paul. The red team lost the challenge after a tie at 2 each, and not only was she angry that she did not win, but she deemed Krupa of having the weakest dish of that day, and that it sucked to lose.

The red team was punished by cleaning both the dorm hot tub and the front entrance fountain, along with prepping both kitchens for that night’s dinner service. Back at the dorms, Elise complained that it was going to be the worst day ever, before aggressively asking how Krupa could not tell the difference between veal and filet mignon. During the punishment, she complained about the smell, deemed her pissed level very high, and complained about how the red team was getting all the punishments so far. However, Krupa felt that her negativity was not needed as she did not help them win and told her to get the fuck over it.

During dinner service, Elise was on the garnish station. When Gina was about to walk her entrées, she complained that she did not have her garnishes ready, before accusing the former of trying to throw her under the bus. Then, Gina wanted to walk her fish out, but she wanted another minute on her garnishes, leading to them bickering as Ramsay compared it to two cats fighting. After Gina served a raw sea bass, she and the former were kicked out of the kitchen. While she felt that her performance was subpar, she did not deserve to get kicked out and blamed Gina for not communicating with her and throwing her under the bus, even though Krupa told her that it was not personal, but on her attitude.

Both teams were named joint-losers and were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Elise was considered for elimination by Elizabeth, but while she argued that her performance was subpar, it was not as bad as Krupa and Gina’s. Before Carrie could consider, she attacked her for hypothetically considering her, leading to another argument on her taking things seriously. Then, she ranted about how nobody cares about her, and that she could not wait for the individual game.

Elise was the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Krupa as the first, and they joined Monterray and Tommy from the blue team. During her plea, she said that she had a lot to give on her team and that she was not the weakest chef on the red team. When Ramsay asked her who the weakest chef on the red team was, she answered Gina. In the end, Ramsay agreed with her and she was spared over Gina. While being dismissed, she said that she was putting her game face on.[5]

Episode 6[]

While going back to the dorms, Jamie told Elise that now, it was time for the latter to learn how to mouth and not mouth, and she promised to work on her attitude as she was becoming humbler. While she was relieved to be safe again, her loud celebration annoyed Jamie and Jennifer.

During the 20 Year Reunion Planning Challenge, Elise accidentally dropped a scallop on the ground, leaving her and Jamie with only four pieces to present. When it was revealed that the theme was Hawaiian instead of Asian like Elizabeth told them, she got distressed. She presented the red team's fish entrée, was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged, and went up against Will. She made barbecue seared scallops with barbecue aioli and bacon, but it immediately drew a red flag as the pescatarian judge could not eat the dish, making her angry at Elizabeth for not telling her that. The dish itself was criticized for being lackluster, too much barbecue flavors, and being undercooked. She lost that round to Will, and angrily accused Elizabeth of wearing earplugs during the meeting and making the red team look like idiots with the wrong information.

The red team lost the challenge 0-3, and they were punished by decorating the dining room for reunion dinner service the following night, clean up both kitchens, and decorate the cake. During the punishment, Elise angrily confronted Elizabeth for giving them the wrong information, but while the latter claimed that she heard the committee say Asian food, she also brought up the bacon incident, and how they did not know one of the women was a pescatarian. However, Elizabeth reminded her on how the scallops were undercooked, and she called the former a bitch in response. Later, she did not help on carrying the tables or plants due to their supposed weight, annoying both Carrie and Jennifer.

During prep, Elise, Jennifer, and Elizabeth struggled on decorating the cake, but when Carrie complained that nobody was taking it seriously, she accused the latter of trying to make them look like they did not care at all, and that led to another argument between the two. Later, she and Krupa presented the cake, but Ramsay was shocked at how ugly it looked, asked if any of them vomited over the cake, and called it a Mexican sombrero that went wrong with shit on top.

During the 20 Year Reunion dinner service, Elise was on the meat station with Jamie. After Carrie sent up her salads before Krupa was ready, she accused the former of being a rookie for making the latter look bad. After a frustrated Ramsay demanded a leader from them, she took the lead as she knew how to use her big mouth, and thanks to her, the red team’s first table of appetizers was sent out. After Carrie tried to use old rice with a fresh batch, she felt that Ramsay finally saw Carrie as the weakest chef on the red team. The red team won the service after completing both team's tickets. After elimination, she claimed that the prize was her's to win.[6]

Episode 7[]

Main article: Episode 907 - 11 Chefs Compete

Before the Creative Beer Challenge, Elise said that she would make a fresh berry Balinese sauce with whipped cream with the ingredients on the table. When the red team had to drop a dish, she immediately said that the team should drop Krupa's dish because she deemed it nasty and lacking flavor. Although she earned her ire for that decision, she simply didn't care. Her dish was Rank 4 from the red team, was the second person to have her dish judged, and went up against Jonathon. She made a Belgium white beer cooked salmon, it was deemed interesting and lighter, and she scored that round over Jonathon.

The red team eventually lost the challenge 2-3, they were punished by participating in delivery day, and Elise cried after Jennifer deemed it the worst punishment in the show's history. During the punishment, she was refused to carry the ice because it was not her fault that the team lost the challenge. The second delivery was of beer kegs, and she was constantly complaining about the weight of the kegs, earning her teammates ire, especially Jennifer and Carrie, who called her a diva and a spoiled child, respectively. Then, when Carrie tried to use the cart, she asked for it and tried to pick an argument when Carrie was reluctant to relinquish control.

Later that night, in the bedroom, Jennifer accused her of not taking the punishments seriously and was backed up by Krupa who said that she always took the easy jobs while the rest of the team was busting their ass. However, Elise argued that she was not there to break her back nor make friends, and replied again that she busted her ass cooking every day, because she wanted to end the red team's losing streak.

During prep, Elise seemed to have had a change of attitude and helped her teammates whenever they needed it, much to the pleasure of Jennifer. During dinner service, she was on the appetizer station, and the new team dynamic after being ordered by Ramsay to work together as a team seemed to work as they got their appetizers accepted. However, soon after, she sent an overly watered salad to the pass, which was sent back. This annoyed Carrie because she had warned her to drain the salads before service began, and she blamed her anyways before being derided by both Carrie and Ramsay that her station was her responsibility, no matter what. Later, she took the leadership role but reverted to her loud and obnoxious persona by calling out ticket orders, and when she claimed to be the only red chef that was speaking, it led to an argument between her and Jamie. In addition, her callouts were confusing Krupa, before the latter sliced into an overcooked Wellington.

Both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Elise considered Jamie for being yelled at by Ramsay constantly throughout the service, before being considered by the latter for her watery salad. It led to an argument that was ended by Jennifer.

Elise was not nominated for elimination, but when Carrie personally wanted her nominated for dictating them, she argued that the latter was intimidated by her vocalness.[7]

Episode 8[]

Main article: Episode 908 - 10 Chefs Compete

Continuing from the previous episode, Ramsay expressed concern that none of the contestants had shown any leadership skills thus far and asked each team to nominate a leader for their team. Back at the dorms, Elise immediately nominated Jennifer, and when Carrie decided to vote for herself, she found it ridiculous and said that she could not even trust the latter to lead a horse to water, much less make it drink, but that led to another argument between the two.

During the American Classics Challenge, Elise cooked the spaghetti and meatballs, but wanted the pizza instead. During the cooking, she complained about Carrie's micromanaging leadership. She was the third person from the red team to have her dish judged, and went up against Will. Her dish was criticized for looking like a mess, and she did not score that round. The red team eventually won the challenge, at 2-1, and while Carrie believed that she was responsible for the win, she remarked that she did not score a point, and did not contribute to their win. The red team was rewarded with a day in Los Angeles, a VIP performance at the Laugh Factory, and brand new Demeyere cookware. When the red team was leaving, Paul mocked Elise for her elaborate hairpiece, but she simply responded that she did not care, as she liked her feather. During their reward, the red team saw Kira Soltanovich perform, who cracked jokes about her feather.

During prep, Elise stated that the red team was finally ready to win. During dinner service, she was on the meat station. Throughout the night, she was flooded with meat orders, compared to Jennifer's single fish entree order, and despite her concern of going down, she was going strong despite her slow movement to the pass. The red team won that dinner service, she credited the victory to herself, and her ego inflated when Ramsay gave her kudos during the post-mortem.

While going back to the dorms, Elise would not let her team forget the fact that Ramsay thought that she was the strongest on the team, and her teammates, especially Jennifer, expressed concern that her poor attitude would be magnified because of her inflated ego.[8]

Episode 9[]

Main article: Episode 909 - 9 Chefs Compete

While going back to the dorms, Elise still boasted about kicking ass that night, but Carrie felt she was on the high horse, and sarcastically gave her an A for effort. However, it soon led to another argument as she called Carrie a crybaby, despite the latter shooting back that she cried more than her, she reminded Carrie that she could not even cook a pizza that night, and ran around with the bottle of wine, mocking the former, before telling Carrie to pack her bags because she would make sure her ass is going home next.

Before the Creative Dessert Challenge, Elise was revealed to be one of the only two chefs married at the time. Because the red team had an extra dish, her dish was chosen to be dropped for being too big for one person and looking like baby vomit according to Carrie, and while she showed a dismissive attitude, Ramsay sternly told her to unfold her arms. After both Elizabeth and Carrie scored poorly, she complained that her dish should have been chosen and that the latter played it safe again. The red team eventually won the challenge 14-13, but Ramsay asked her to present her fresh berry sabayon. Not only was the dish criticized for looking like it could feed 10 people, but the taste was ruined by an excessive amount of vinegar, with Ramsay telling her she got lucky she did not receive a zero in the judging, with Carrie parroting her in the confessional.

The red team was rewarded with an overnight trip to Las Vegas, staying at Caesars Palace’s five-bedroom villa. During their reward, Elise said that she could use the villa to pretend Carrie does not exist. Later that night, she made a snide comment about Carrie sharing for the first time, with the latter called her a slut in response.

During the Date Night dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station with Jennifer. As the red team received their first order, she and Jennifer argued over who was leading appetizers, before the latter took it. Then, she refused to speak with Carrie as they did not work well together in the pass, while Ramsay ordered them not to let their personal distrust affect service, before agreeing with Ramsay that Jamie did not fight back. Later, she sent up a vegetarian capellini, but Ramsay discovered that it still had lobster. When she tried to speak up, Ramsay ordered her to shut up, compared her to Jamie for not being bothered anymore, and ordered her to call out the order multiple times until it was set in before telling her she deserved a straight jacket more than a black jacket. After, her oysters were overcooked, and a fed-up Ramsay kicked her out of the kitchen before accusing her of not caring and handing the oyster to her on her way out, which caused her to groan in frustration, as well as telling her, “Bon Appétit, Princess!”

During the post-mortem, Ramsay berated Elise on how unfocused and disrespectful she was. When she tried to voice out how Jennifer took the lead, the latter reminded her of how she got appetizers sent out compared to her rejected ones. The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination.

Elise was the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Carrie as the first. During her plea, she claimed that despite her mistakes, she was not in over her head like Carrie, but Ramsay called her out on her ego and that she cannot handle authority. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she boasted that she was here to kick ass.[9]

Episode 10[]

Main article: Episode 910 - 8 Chefs Compete

Back at the dorms, Elise disagreed with Ramsay’s decision in eliminating Jamie over Carrie.

During the Blind Taste Test, Elise was the final person from the red team to compete and went up against Natalie. She gave the best individual performance by correctly identifying filet mignon, coconut, and sour cream, and the red team won the challenge 5-4. They were rewarded with a horseback trip to Hollywood’s highest point for lunch, and that excited her as she never saw a horse in real life, and when Carrie overindulged in wine during lunch, she pointed that out.

Later that night, Elise told Natalie about the reward, but when she mentioned about the horse that peed next to Carrie, the latter accused her of fabricating it and over-dramatizing the story, leading to another argument about Carrie telling her to go back to her drunken state as she liked her better when she was passed out, but Elise yelled she was not drunk before calling her a bitch in response, and saying she wasn’t an alcoholic like Carrie, walking around with a whole bottle of wine with a straw in it. They continued arguing even more, loud enough for the men to wake up to. Then, she accused Carrie of only staying due to banging, and relished the moment when the latter would finally be eliminated.

When the red team had the choice of either cooking or serving first during the Steakhouse double dinner service, Elise convinced her team to pick the latter as it was to see how that night went in the first seating. During the first seating, she sent up a ticket that was improperly written and complained that she was not a waitress while her teammates were doing fine so far. When the blue team left diners hungry due to problems, she hoped that the red team did not fuck up like the blue team, and after the first seating, she felt they had the leg up. During the second seating, she was on the fish station. On entrées, she sent up a raw sea bass, and near the end of their time limit, she accidentally dropped her sea bass to the ground, and a fed-up Ramsay shut down the red kitchen.

During the post-mortem, Ramsay told Elise that she had a bright future in the culinary industry as a customer, before accusing her of not working well with a team. She argued against that, but the rest of the red team disagreed as Jennifer called her an individual player, but that led to an argument inside the red team, which only ended when Jennifer viciously told her to shut up for five fucking seconds. Both teams were named joint-losers, and Ramsay asked them to nominate one person each. During deliberation, she considered Carrie for elimination, while the latter nominated her.

Elise was not nominated for elimination, but after Carrie left, she was the only one not clapping, and Ramsay asked her to take her jacket off as the episode ended as a cliffhanger.[10]

Episode 11[]

Continuing from the previous episode, Elise took her jacket off, and Ramsay stated that he did not believe that she was ready for BLT Steak. Then, he relieved her by saying that he did not believe that any of the remaining contestants were ready, and revealed that he would be closing Hell's Kitchen that night so that they could fly to New York and be motivated by seeing the prized restaurant.

After Ramsay announced the King of The Hill Challenge, Elise got frustrated as she was not paying attention to the techniques during New York. She got ahi tuna, carrots, beans, and a kumquat, and her country was China, but during the cooking, she was not confident as she never made Chinese food until that day. She was the fifth person to have her dish judged and presented her ahi tuna with soy sauce. It was deemed nice, and while she dethroned Paul, she was soon dethroned by Will. The red team eventually won the challenge, and they were rewarded with a day at Venice beach, and rode in a giant zorb bubble.

During prep, Tommy told Elise that while he would unwrap her Wellingtons, she would have to score them herself, although she complained how bad a job he did prepping them. During dinner service, she was on the meat station. At one point, she did not respond to Jennifer’s requests, and when Elizabeth struggled, Ramsay order her to help the former out. Thanks to her, Elizabeth’s scallops were accepted. After Elizabeth's meltdown, she now saw the former as the weakest on the red team, but then, she sent up improperly scored Wellingtons that Ramsay accused of being chewed on. After, Ramsay ordered her to bring up her tray of Wellingtons to the front, and he discovered she scored them too deep, which led them to the pastry breaking apart. However, she argued that Tommy scored the first tray, but when Ramsay brought her to the blue kitchen to tell him, Tommy reminded her that he did not score them, with footage from earlier proving he was in the right. After, Ramsay told her that she cannot take responsibility, before asking if she would blame Carrie, Krupa, or Jamie that time as all three of them were gone. Later, she and Elizabeth argued about timings on their respective dishes, sent up an already sliced New York striploin back into the oven, and when she sent it up, it was overcooked and dry, complete with Ramsay imitating like a baby and asking "Cry Time?", but she refuses. That was the final straw for Ramsay, and after he called her out for being back in night one, she and Elizabeth were kicked out of the kitchen. On their way out, she angrily kicked a garbage bin down, but Ramsay ordered her to pick it up and calls her pathetic and embarrassing.

Both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate one each. During deliberation, Elise was considered by Elizabeth, but she argued how the latter was frazzled the entire night and challenged the red team to nominate her.

Elise was the red team's nominee and joined Natalie from the blue team. During her plea, Ramsay reminded her how she blamed Tommy for her poor scoring, and when he asked her when she would start taking responsibility, she promised at that moment, and that she did not want to go home. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she thanked Ramsay for giving her another chance.[11]

Episode 12[]

While going back to the dorms, Elise was grateful to survive, and wanted to bounce back from her poor performance that night, while hoping her team did as well.

During the Time Limit Challenge, Elise cooked a dish with 10 minutes but distracted Jennifer with her constant questions. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Will. She made spicy calamari with a tomato pepper sauce, and while Ramsay liked the heat of the sauce, he criticized the calamari for being undercooked. She lost that round to Will, and the red team lost the challenge 1-2. They were punished by prepping ahead of the charity night service and bring out two banquet tables while reorganizing the dining room. She openly cried over the women's defeat, but Ramsay was not having it that time and told her to stop it and bounce back. During the punishment, she and Jennifer argued about candlestick placements.

During prep, Elise wanted to formulate a game plan on how to work but insulted Elizabeth when the latter wanted to focus on her chicken. During the Charity Night dinner service, she was in charge of both the risotto course and the lamb Wellington course. On the scallops course, Elizabeth asked her for some help, but ended up doing most of the work with Jennifer. During her first course, she told her teammates what to do, and wanted to show Ramsay she could bounce back, with her course easily sent out with no problems. On the lobster capellini course, she was slow plating the pasta, but argued that she did not have to sabotage as Jennifer was fucking up on her own, and another bickering match occurred. On the chicken course, she accused Elizabeth of being scatterbrained, and during her second course, she wanted to be ready in seven minutes but refused to have her teammates touch her proteins, and delegated them to garnishes. When the women were beginning to plate as she was slicing her Wellingtons, Ramsay discovered the mashed potatoes lacked salt, and Ramsay berated her for not noticing, although she accused her teammates of sabotaging her. Despite the bickering continuing, the women had their course finally sent out. On the apple tartin tart course, Jennifer accused her of undercooking the apples due to being petty for the mashed potato incident, but she said that the former would regret being her enemy.

The red team lost the service, and Ramsay announced that they were all nominated for elimination. Back at the dorms, Elizabeth accused Elise of being in a delusional world who was the leader of the women, but she felt that everybody was against her, and argued how everything she cooked that night was perfect.

At elimination, another bickering match between Elise and Jennifer over leadership devolved into another argument Ramsay defused. During her plea, she said she was a leader, and wanted to nail that night’s service. After Elizabeth's elimination, Ramsay called her up, and while he felt she was in a downward spiral, he still believed in her due to some strong performances and gave her the final black jacket. While being dismissed, she was happy to receive a black jacket.[12]

Episode 13[]

While going back to the dorms, Elise was stunned to make it to the black jacket but felt that she was good enough for one.

During the Presentation Challenge, Elise sprinted for the eggplant parmesan plate, pushing Paul out of the way in the process. During the cooking, she accused Paul of trying to peek at her dish, leading the latter to call her a pain in the ass with nine pans out for eggplant parmesan. She was the fourth person to have her dish judged, and confidently presented her tower of eggplant parmesan. The dish was praised for looking eye-catching, and tasting delicious with no overwhelming cheese flavor, and she scored a total of 86.

Despite Elise losing the challenge to Will, the latter picked her to come on his reward as she was the runner up in the challenge. They went on a dining tour in Los Angeles driven in a Rolls Royce. During the reward, she called it he best reward yet, but when Will told her to keep the red team’s drama out of the kitchen, she did not want to explain herself to anybody.

Later that night, the final five learned that they would be facing off against a team of veterans in the following dinner service, and after seeing Season 6 Tennille, Elise wanted to be like her and was ready to shine, but Tennille hoped that the former had a body bag. During the menu creation, she got snappy when the other chefs made suggestions about her lemon risotto, especially when Tommy suggested adding wasabi with their tuna tartare, and an argument erupted in the dorms. That led to Will furiously screaming that he did not want the drama anymore and accused her of being the reason for the red team’s problems, and after more arguing, he was willing to walk out of the competition. While the rest of the chefs were dismayed about the prospect of Will leaving, she rudely brushed it aside.

During dinner service, Elise was on the meat station. After seeing Will direct Tommy a lot, she called the latter the former's bitch. On entrées, she second-guessed herself on the meat temperatures, which Paul did not see as a good sign for leadership. Despite that, her entrée was accepted. After Paul served an overcooked lobster tail, she accused him of not backing up his talk, and then, and argument over timings occurred between the two, much to Ramsay’s irritation.

Despite the black jackets winning the service for having a 96% approval rating over the veterans 83%, Ramsay still asked for two nominees for elimination. During deliberation, Will considered Elise for elimination due to how difficult she was during the menu creation, but while she argued that she had a good night, Paul considered her due to asking him for the cooks on three steaks, but she argued that she only asked once. Then, she accused Paul of nominating her of being insecure, but he deemed her cancerous.

Elise was named the second nominee for elimination, with Jennifer as the first. During her plea, she argued that she was trying to be vocal that night, and felt that the men were intimidated by her, but before another argument could erupt, Ramsay shut them all up. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she felt that the other chefs were mad she would not be pushed around.[13]

Episode 14[]

Main article: Episode 914 - 5 Chefs Compete Again

Before the Alaskan Salmon Profit Challenge, Elise got confused by the math Ramsay used to describe how portioning the salmon worked in pricing. During the cooking, she wanted to keep shining for Ramsay’s sake. She was the second person to have her dish judged, and while nervous following after Will, she was confident in her dish. She made a salmon with macaroni and cheese, and it was criticized for an unappealing presentation, with Ramsay even questioning her decision to slice the salmon into thirds as he compared it to dog chew. After, Chris Denton questioned the pasta component as it overshadowed the salmon, and she finished with an average of $24.33. She lost the challenge to Paul, and was punished by cleaning up the bar area for that night’s service which included polishing the glassware, restocking the bottles and ice buckets, and prepping the salmon. During the punishment, she was pissed, refused to scale the fish as she did not want to ruin an expensive protein, and was disgusted by Jennifer's crush on Paul as she was there to win.

When Paul and Tommy came back from their reward, Elise was not amused by the latter's jokes about her deboning. During dinner service, she was on the fish station. Multiple times, Jennifer did not respond to her timing questions, and it led to an argument the men had to break up. Then, she wanted to prove to Ramsay she could cook salmon after the previous challenge, but her salmon was burnt on the bottom and overcooked, with Paul confirming that he did not serve that earlier that day, and Ramsay was forced to send out an incomplete table. Then, her refire had soggy skin, with Paul explaining that she had to cook skin side first and that it was cooking 101, although she rudely commented that he should have said so 20 minutes ago. Despite Paul trying to help her out, she was forced to restart after the skin broke, and Ramsay berated her for taking a $30 dish into a $0 dish, and that they were dragging for 14 minutes. Eventually, she finally figured out the message Ramsay and Paul were trying to say, and the former sarcastically told her to relax as their next ticket was all meat. Later, Tommy tried to help her, which she did not want, two proceeded to argue, and when Ramsay asked her about the salmon refires, she explained that she had to restart due to the skin sticking to the pan, leading Ramsay to ask if she was blaming the pans now, before warning her to have it perfect or else. Then, Tommy noticed that her flattop was not hot enough for the fish, but she pushed him aside, and then, she sent up raw salmon. That was the final straw for Ramsay, who proceeded to kick the entire black jacket team out of the kitchen.

After service, Ramsay asked the final five to name two people for elimination. During deliberation, in order to keep herself for one more day, Elise pulled Will aside, and asked him to call Jennifer as the weakest chef of the five, even promising to have his back, before doing the same to Paul.

Elise was the second nominee for elimination, with Jennifer as the first. During her plea, Ramsay reminded her how she ruined one of the most expensive salmons in the world, but she argued that was a leader, which led to an argument between her and Jennifer about mistakes until Ramsay ended it as he commented he had a chef who could not shut the fuck up and a chef who could not fucking talk. Despite receiving a vote from Tommy, she survived elimination, but when she called Jennifer out for not showing strength in the challenge, the men shut her up as the latter flipped her off on her way out. When being dismissed, she felt that she had a moment of brilliance.[14]

Episode 15[]

Main article: Episode 915 - 4 Chefs Compete

While going back to the dorms, Elise told both Paul and Will that she owed them for standing up to their promise, but the men said that she did not owe them shit as Will stated, personality aside, she could cook compared to Jennifer. However, she claimed she was back. The next day, she received a visit from her husband, son, and aunt, and told her husband about her highs and lows.

During the Taste It Now Make It Challenge, Elise struggled between cod and halibut, but Ramsay reminded her that she could cook both proteins and drop one come plating. She used halibut, prosciutto, and mushrooms, kale, and cream in order to recreate Ramsay's dish. When she presented her dish, Ramsay deemed it interesting as she used both halibut and monkfish. While she got both the garnishes and the ham wrapping correct, she lost the challenge to Paul as the correct fish protein was cod.

Elise was punished by participating in moving day, which included moving out all the unneeded furniture in the dorms. After hearing that, she cried once again, and Ramsay got annoyed. During the punishment, she disgustingly found food under a red bed, and claimed that every scrap was from Jennifer, when Tommy found a sauce stain under one of the beds, she was asked by him to taste it as she had the best palate.

During prep, Tommy and Elise were arguing over whether a container had mascarpone or butter in it. Although Tommy conceded defeat after tasting it, which was butter, she felt the former made it far due to being bossed around and following others. During dinner service, she was on the garnish station. During Paul's turn, she called his leadership poor as he was shouting, and during Tommy's turn, she needed a reread as she was confused on the order. She was the third person to run the pass and was ready to run the kitchen. However, she did not know that the purée contained potato instead of cauliflower, and started plating it until Ramsay stopped her, even bewildered that she did so despite tasting it earlier. That led to her getting emotional again, but she got herself recomposed, and the entrées were being pushed out. However, Sous Chef Scott handed her parsnip purée instead of mashed potatoes, but that time, she caught it, and then, she rejected Tommy’s sea bass for being chewed up like a dog, but he felt there was room for one Ramsay and one big mouth. Eventually, her vocal performance was moving forward and felt good about her performance. During Will's turn, she sent up spinach, but Will discovered raw pasta, and she had no idea how it got there. Despite being ordered to do a refire, she dumped the spinach to a plate, and then, sent up potatoes with black pepper in it. When Will accused her of sabotaging him, she called it an accident, which led to an argument, and eventually, the entire table needed to be refired, before accusing Will of barking instead of leading.

After service, Ramsay asked the final four to come up with a reason why deserved to be in the finals. During deliberation, Will told Elise that nothing he said was personal, but she accused him of fearing her.

After Tommy's elimination, Ramsay asked Elise why she should be in the finale, and she felt that she grew the most out of all the chefs that year, before promising to show passion when she won. She was eliminated after Will and Paul were named as the finalists, much to her tearful dismay. but before leaving, Ramsay praised her for her resilience and allowed her to keep her jacket. During her exit interview, she received a retrospective montage. Ramsay gave no comment on her elimination, and she did not receive the coat hanging sequence.[15]

Episode 16[]

Elise was one of the eight returning chefs that came back for the finale, and after her reveal, she arrogantly called herself a big present. She was Paul's first pick, and was followed by Elizabeth, Jonathon, and Carrie. After being picked, she felt that Paul was confident in her abilities. During the debriefing, Paul warned her and Carrie that he would put his foot up their asses if they started bickering again, and while she promised not to fight, she was willing to draw blood for the next dinner service, even if it meant beating Carrie’s ass. After, she agreed to help with anybody else once appetizers were finished.

During dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station. After Paul called out his first order, she was the only one who responded, and called out everybody else for that. Despite originally feeling bitter about helping somebody else win, she wanted to see Paul win that night and sent up her shrimp. However, Paul noticed that there was stock in there that was not needed, and Ramsay chewed her out for making a mistake on the first table. Then, a fire erupted on her station, and after Ramsay tossed the flaming pan into the sink, he ordered her to use her brains as she was a talented cook. After Elizabeth served undercooked scallops, she called it a blonde moment, and later, she discovered raw steaks on Jonathon's station, before being ordered by Paul to put the steaks inside the over. When Jonathon tossed a steak onto the counter in frustration, she called him out on and called him a big crybaby, and when the former sent up raw steaks again, Paul ordered her onto the meat while relocating the former to garnish with Carrie. After saying that Jonathon sucked, the two argued over the station control, and she was able to produce a decent steak. When Carrie was slow on garnish, Paul asked her to help the former out and despite Carrie feeling she was in her way, she herself knew the former needed help as always, and thanks to her, the next order of entrées were sent out. Paul eventually won the finals over Will, and during the celebration, Ramsay told her to take the momentum from the competition with her and stop being a bitch every time.[16]

Elise made a cameo as a customer for the 200th Hell's Kitchen dinner service. She was eating at the same table as Rock (Season 3), Jay (Season 7), Christina (Season 10), and Jon (Season 11).[17]

Season 17[]

Episode 1/2[]

Main article: Episode 1701 - All-Stars Arrive
Main article: Episode 1702 - Raising the Bar

Before arriving, Elise's name was already making people cringe as Ashley called her the most hated chef in the show’s history as they recalled the multiple arguments she had back in Season 9. Soon after, she was the fifteenth All-Star to arrive at Hell's Kitchen, everybody got uncomfortable with her presence, and Jennifer said that she was the last person she wanted to see that day. However, she said that she thought about the day she was eliminated last time, and declared that she was going to do whatever it took to win that time, before stating that she was still the same person that did not care what everybody thought of her. After Ramsay announced what the prized restaurant was, she was ready to rewrite history, before declaring that she was going to smoke everybody.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Elise received lobster as her main protein, she was the seventh person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Van. She made a poached lobster tail and grilled corn, they were praised for a beautifully cooked lobster, she scored a perfect 5, and she declared her as the strongest chef on the red team. The red team lost the challenge 27-28, and they were punished by cleaning up the front of the entrance, tear down the risers and red carpets, and clean up the confetti on the ground. Back at the dorms, she put the loss on Robyn’s dish, and snarkily told the latter that she should have asked her tiger eye about her salmon. During the punishment, she refused to help out on the risers as she refused to get herself injured, despite having muscles since the last time and deemed herself not Bob the builder.[18]

During the Bar Menu Challenge, Elise decided to go with wings as they could pair up with any drink on the menu, before asking who did not like chicken wings. She was the third chef that was in the top four of the red team, and she presented her Tucson bar wings with Parmesan cheese. Ramsay praised the wings for their flavor and crispiness, and her dish replaced Ashley’s dish in the top four. She lost the challenge to Milly.

During dinner service, Elise was on the meat station with Robyn. At one point, she warned Ashley that the carbonara looked wet, but was ignored by her, and when it was rejected, she said that Ashley should have known better as carbonara was one of the most simplistic dishes on the menu. Then, she knew that the opening night was the hardest, especially since she last competed five years ago, and called it nerve-wracking. Despite that, she got her meat entrées accepted and admitted that she was not concerned as she knew her chicken was good. However, despite wanting to keep her and Robyn’s good momentum going as they might win that night, her New York striploin was very raw. That led to a pissed Ramsay to drag the red team into the pantry room, asked them what was happening, showed them her raw steak, and asked them to get their shit together. After coming back, she declared that she was the bounce-back queen, and promised that she would never rush again. Then, she decided to cook two steaks for insurance, but her second attempt was overcooked, and an angry Ramsay ordered the red team to go out into the dining room and apologize to their customers. While the red team did apologize, she was very embarrassed and wished that the floor would open up and swallow her. When the red team came back into the kitchen, Ramsay refused to let any more poor steaks come out, called Giovanni in from the blue team, and asked him to cook six New York strip steaks for her. While she teared up over that, Barbie reminded her that Giovanni was only there to help out, and urged her to keep control of her station, as he told her to stop flipping her steaks. Thanks to Giovanni's help, she got her third attempt accepted.

The red team lost the service and was asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Barbie tried to calm Elise down, but while she tearfully felt that she deserved to be nominated that night, Barbie told her that she should not go home as she had more to show. Later, she argued that she behind due to the slow down on apps.

Elise was named the red team's first nominee, with Manda as the second. During her plea, she said that she was not the weakest chef on the red team, and wanted another opportunity to prove herself. However, Ramsay reminded her that he had to bring over Giovanni to coach her on cooking steaks, and she called it the most embarrassing moment that night. Despite being voted by Dana and Robyn for going home that night, she survived elimination. On their way back to the dorms, she boasted that being nominated has motivated her, and knew that she was in the top four of the red team. However, Robyn felt that she was disrespecting her, and the two argued in the middle of the living room in front of everybody, ending the episode in a cliffhanger.[19]

Episode 3[]

Main article: Episode 1703 - Tower of Terror

Continuing from the previous episode, Elise and Robyn began arguing in the living room as the latter accused her of turning the red team against her, but she argued against that, and while she said that being nominated has motivated her in becoming the bounce-back queen, Robyn reminded her that they were still a team and that the reason she was mad was that she was talking shit behind her back, before reminding of her poor New York strip steaks that night. However, she sarcastically congratulated Robyn for bouncing back after two poor challenge performances, and the latter called herself the bounce-back queen in response. The two continued to argue, with Robyn calling her a bitch, but ended when Manda pulled the latter out of the room.

Before the Seafood Tower Challenge, Elise allowed Michelle to do the cup stacking challenge, as she thought that the youngest chef would know cup stacking. She was paired with Michelle, and they were the second pair to compete. During the challenge, she worked on the ice instead of helping Michelle shuck the oysters, and that led to them missing a portion, before eventually getting their first attempt accepted. The red team lost the challenge, and they were punished by taking deliveries of 100 pounds of seafood, prep them for that night’s service along with both kitchens, and eating a bowl of disgusting fish soup. During the punishment, she felt that the red team was not a cohesive unit and that they could not get on the same page, before hoping that they could fix it. During lunch, she did not take a single bite of her dish, but while she claimed that she was not adventurous, she lied to Sous Chef Christina that she did. So, Sous Chef Christina did a breath check on everybody, and when she told Sous Chef Christina that she only took a bite of the broth and not the actual fish, Sous Chef Christina had her eat a single bite in front of her, and reminded her that it was a team-win team-loss situation.

During dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station with Dana. At one point, she and Dana were seen getting their appetizers accepted. The red team lost the service and were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, she agreed with Michelle that they were just giving the blue team the wins, and ranted that they had to get better with communication. Then, she agreed with Barbie and Ashley's nominee choices with Robyn and Manda, with her reminding the latter how flustered she on garnish, but reminded Ashley on how she did nothing that night compared to Barbie.

She was not nominated for elimination.[20]

Episode 4[]

Main article: Episode 1704 - Just Letter Cook

During the Chance Challenge, Elise called out mango during the M round and called out syrup during the S round. During the cooking, she tasted Barbie's peanut sauce for the latter and said that it tasted good. She was the fifth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and presented her wagyu strip steak. It was praised for using the melon to wrap the asparagus, she scored a perfect 5, and she arrogantly boasting that she slammed dunked again. The red team won the challenge 26-25, and they were rewarded with a private jet trip to Santa Barbara and had an overnight stay at the Belmond El Encanto resort. While packing up, she excitedly said that the red team really needed that win, and felt that they were one accord now.

During dinner service, Elise was on the fish station with Manda. At one point, she felt that Barbie was getting flustered on garnishes, before asking how when the latter was reheating vegetables. After the blue team got kicked out of the kitchen, Ramsay asked her and Robyn to help Sous Chef Jocky complete the blue team’s remaining two orders and plate their desserts, and she called that night redemption. The red team won the service.

During elimination, Elise said goodbye to Robyn as the latter was reassigned to the blue team, while "welcoming" Josh as a new teammate, much to her great dismay, and even vocally yelled out a 'NO' in response.[21]

Episode 5[]

Main article: Episode 1705 - Josh Josh Josh

Back at the dorms, Josh wanted to talk with Elise outside, but she refused to acknowledge Josh as a red chef yet, and declared that she was not worried about him as they would send him back to the front of elimination if he fucked up. While Josh argued that she was not gelling with the new situation, she argued that she was gelling with her old teammates, and not with him as Josh was the new guy.

During the Wood Wood Plank Cooking Challenge, Elise forcibly decided to work alone with the salmon. During the cooking, she boasted that she grilled better than a man could, but was having difficulties with the fire pit. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against the pair of Giovanni and Milly. She presented her cedar grilled salmon and mustard aioli, it was praised for the aioli concept and having a perfectly cooked fish, and she scored that round over the pair of Giovanni and Milly. When the score was tied at 3, her dish was chosen as the best of the red team, and she was sweating in anticipation.

The red team lost the challenge, and they were punished by cleaning up a stable at Apex Ranch. Back at the dorms, Elise reminded Josh that cold coals did not help, but he called her a bully in response. While she denied being a bully and called Josh being a soft man for calling her that, the latter accused her of taking HCH that morning, and accused her of being a master manipulator. During the punishment, she promised to back up Manda as she did not want Josh’s disrespect either.

During dinner service, Elise was on the meat station with Dana. At one point, she was seen doing nothing without lifting a finger, and Dana and Manda accused her of doing the bare minimum. When Josh was struggling on garnish, she told him to work as they seriously needed the garnishes, and appreciated Sous Chef Christina's retort on Josh to produce something. Both teams were named joint-winners, and while being dismissed, she said that she could not deal with somebody like Josh that could not cook, and strongly believed that she would win in the end.[22]

Episode 6[]

Main article: Episode 1706 - A Little Slice of Hell

Back at the dorms, Elise knew that Josh would not have lasted long, and at the hot tub, the chefs joked about her having a wild sex life, and she left to go to bed.

During the Pizza Fusion Challenge, Elise wanted to go up against Jared as she wanted to kick his ass, and they got South Korea. During the cooking, she said that things were getting hectic, and struggled to get her pizza off her paddle. Then, her pizza fell apart, she had a complete meltdown, and Barbie tried to keep her calm. She was the fifth person from the red team to have her dish judged and presented her flatbread pizza. It was criticized for its small presentation, with Ramsay asking if she ate half of it, despite having great flavors, and neither she nor Jared scored that round. The red team won the challenge 3-2, and they were rewarded with a tour around Hollywood in a double-decker bus, and a trip to the Hollywood Magic Castle. During the reward, the magician borrowed her wedding ring for his trick, but she reluctantly did so, with Michelle telling her to relax.

During the Italian Night dinner service, Elise served an Italian seafood entrée tableside. At one point, she tasted Manda's pasta after Michelle did, and said that it tasted raw. Then, she asked her teammates if they needed any help, but they were fine on their own, despite her claiming that she has been trying to become a better team player as it was the reason for her multiple nominations in Season 9. However, they told her to go back to her own station. The red team won the service.[23]

Episode 7[]

Main article: Episode 1707 - Trimming Fat

During the Last Chef Standing Challenge, Elise was the fourth chef from the red team to leave the kitchen, and when Michelle was the final person left, she felt that the latter could not handle the pressure as Michelle was getting flustered. When the lamb round was up, the red team’s attempt was raw as she did not cook it fully. The red team lost the challenge 3-5, and they were punished by helping Marino clean the dining room, clean the latter’s shirts ahead of the following service, and clean both kitchens. During the punishment, she was seen wiping the counters slowly, and later, she and Michelle argued about her rudeness and poor attitude, and she called the latter nails on the chalkboard annoying. Despite that, the two agreed to drop the argument, and go through the rest of their punishment.

Elise was named Michelle's third nominee for the Cook For Your Life Challenge for not being a team player, which caused her to refuse to play nice anymore, and said that Michelle should be praying that she did not survive the challenge. After, she felt that either Dana or Jennifer should be up for elimination instead of herself, but felt that Michelle picked her out of fear of her abilities. During the cooking, she knew that she could be sent home over one mistake, and before the judging, Ramsay noticed that she was tearing up as she still felt she did not deserve to be nominated. She was the fifth person up, but was still upset as she did not deserve to be in the bottom three, and that she had done nothing but be a team player. Her dish was praised for a beautiful presentation but was criticized for tasting too salty as she put her oyster shells too far into the salt. Despite that, her dish was deemed better than Robyn’s and she was safe. After, she refused to let Michelle hear the end of it, and when she came to the patio, she told Michelle that it was on. When the two argued about it, Jennifer broke it up, and when she told Michelle to get used to her face, the latter snarkily asked if she meant her crying face. Later, she boasted how she herself was the strongest chef on the red team and warned Michelle that she was coming after her.[24]

Back at the dorms, Elise claimed that she was no longer playing nice and that she was in it to win it, only for Michelle to retort that she herself has been doing that before, and accused her of coasting through the competition so far. Manda tried to break up the argument, but she shut her up as she continued to boast how strong she was, but Michelle argued against that and called her inconsistent. Despite her threatening to go after Michelle, the latter said that she was not afraid of her.

During the Cave Meat Challenge, Elise almost stabbed Jennifer with her spear, but had no remorse doing so. During the cooking, Sous Chef Christina asked her if she has calmed down after the previous night, and she said that she was, before planning on making her dish a statement to Michelle on who the weaker red chef was. She was paired up with Dana on the venison, they were the second pair from the red team to have their dishes judged, and they went up against Nick. She made venison with yam purée, it was praised for not slicing it before as it showed confidence, and even more praised for having a perfectly cooked meat. So, she scored that round for the red team, and she rubbed her victory in Michelle’s face. After Michelle's dish received poor reviews, she gloated about the former’s failure.

The red team lost the challenge 1-2, and they were punished by participating in Spring Cleaning day, which included clearing the bathrooms and bedrooms of the dorms, and ironing the wait staff’s aprons. While being dismissed, Elise hoped that Ramsay would have sent her with the blue team on their reward as she was the only one that scored a point for the red team, and was disgusted to have to clean pubes out of the showers. Back at the dorms, the red team tried to cheer themselves up by saying that they did a good job, but she argued that she was the only one that she scored a point. During the punishment, Michelle apologies to her about nominating the latter over the Cook For Your Life Challenge, but she rejected it as she was still angry over being called a non-team player, and that led into another argument between the two.

During dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station with Jennifer. At one point, she was struggling to put together the caviar Bellini, and Jennifer came to help her. When Manda was struggling on the lobster tail, she came in to help the latter. After a raw chicken was rejected because Michelle failed to see the rawness, she mocked the latter for failing to notice that.

The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Elise called that night a cluster fuck and that there was no team dynamic within the red team, but that led into an argument between the red team until Michelle told them to shut up. Then, she said that Manda’s raw pork set the red team back that night, and asked Barbie what the latter's excuse was over the raw duck. Then, she accused Michelle of skating through service, but when Jennifer brought up her struggles on appetizers, she ignored both the latter and Michelle’s comments by calling out boops and said that she was ready to vote.

Elise was not nominated for elimination, but when Ramsay asked the red team what happened that night, she said that nobody took control of that night, and once again accused Michelle of running around, but the latter argued that she did not. That led to another argument in the red team about Elise saying certain people were kissing certain people‘s asses that was a hindrance to the team, called Michelle out for celebrating after the challenge and not taking responsibility for the raw chicken, despite doing so earlier, but when Dana told her she didn't like the former personally, Elise argued that it was nothing personal. She also started throwing Barbie under the bus for always blaming someone else for her mistakes, and saying the duck was raw because no one scored it for her until Ramsay shut them all up. While being dismissed, she said that she did not need any friends from the red team, while believing that she will get new ones when she won.[25]

Back at the dorms, Elise continued to say that Michelle did not take responsibility for her mistakes, but Nick accused her of saying that due to Michelle naming her as one of the weakest chefs on the red team. She denied that and continued to deride Michelle for riding through service, even though Nick told her to shut up. The argument continued throughout the night into the next day, and Nick called her a bully for picking on Michelle, before reminding her how the red team was losing to the blue team and mocking her constant boops.

During the Fishing Challenge, Elise received red snapper and was seen struggling to catch Barbie’s fish. When she collected her ingredients, she wasted her round being too picky on what ingredients she wanted, with Michelle being unsympathetic, and ended up with three ingredients. During the cooking, she was not confident about her chances due to having three ingredients, annoying Dana. She was the third person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against Milly. She made an unknown snapper dish, it was criticized for tasting like two completely different dishes, but when she tried to argue that she was at a disadvantage for only getting three ingredients, Ramsay mocked her for that argument. She lost that round to Milly.

The red team lost the challenge 2-4, and they were punished by participating in fish delivery, prep them for the following service, and drinking a disgusting milkshake. During the punishment, Elise received tips from Michelle on how to debone the fish, but when Barbie's attitude picked up, she got dismayed as she really thought there was some unity growing, did not understand the latter's process, and said that she could not handle her shade any longer. After Barbie's attempt to weasel out of the milkshake backfired, she got angry and called the former a lunatic.

During dinner service, Elise was on the garnish station. At one point, she got annoyed with Barbie's intro to the chef's table and decided to take the lead, but her repetitive call-outs annoyed Dana. Later, she and Barbie had a brief shouting match over cooking times, but an annoyed Sous Chef Christina ordered the two to shut up as there were guests in the kitchen. After Barbie tried to push the chef's table for a duck refire, she apologized for the table on Barbie’s behalf, and deemed the latter a nut case. After another argument with Barbie, an annoyed Ramsay brought them to the pantry room to get the full story and ordered them to work out their differences in there. However, the two continued to bicker about the duck.

Both teams were named joint-losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Barbie accused Elise of running her mouth by reading the ticket orders, and she was considered by Jennifer based on the arguing that night. While she argued that she was not the weakest chef, Michelle argued that they were better off without the attitude. However, she argued that Barbie should go home because she has continued to struggle on meat and called the latter both a lunatic and batshit crazy, and the two went back to arguing.

Elise was named the red team's first nominee for elimination, with Barbie as the second. During her plea, she argued that she has been the strongest chef on the red team. She survived elimination.[26]

Episode 10[]

Main article: Episode 1710 - It's All Gravy

While going back to the dorms, Elise called Van’s elimination shocking, did not understand why he had to go now and declared that while she wanted Barbie gone, she would not sabotage a dinner service to do so. Then, she said that that Barbie should not be behaving like that for her age, before bragging that she looked young for a 32-year-old and that she worked out and ate right.

Before the Blind Taste Test, Elise boasted that she had a good palate. She was the fourth person from the red team to compete and went up against Milly. She failed to get the first two ingredients, and when she incorrectly guessed parsley for celery root, the red team lost the challenge 2-8, and Barbie received the first two punishments. They were punished by cleaning up the dining room, separating peppercorn by color, and grinding them by hand. During the punishment, she brought up Van’s elimination once again.

During the Charity Night dinner service, Elise accused Michelle of forgetting to count when the latter was missing three scallops. She was in charge of the striped bass course, agreed with Milly on nine minutes for their bass to cook, but she took a dictatorship role for the red team and ordered her teammates to do what she wanted. Despite Michelle saying that the sauce was still reducing, she brought the sauce up regardless of that, and Ramsay found out that it tasted bland. While she blamed Michelle for not tasting it, the latter argued that the former grabbed it from her before she had the chance, leading to a brief argument. Things soon got worse when Ramsay discovered that the bass was all burnt, and she accused her team of trying to sabotage her performance, argued that she could not cook and plate at the same time, and told Marino that it would take six minutes for the refire. She finally managed to get her course out to the red team’s table but was pissed as she still felt that the red team sabotaged her.

The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Elise knew that there was no teamwork that night, believed that Dana and Michelle were part of a clique, and declared that she did not trust the two. Then, she asked if it was Barbie and herself that night, with Michelle reminding her how she took a dictatorship role at the start of her course and being frazzled. Despite that, she vocally denied that and reminded Michelle how she cooked the sauce with no heat on, leading the latter to throw a water bottle at her. She was considered for elimination by Michelle and Barbie. After, she left the room, and told the blue team how she cooked perfectly that night, while everybody on her team sabotaged her, before pinning Jennifer for the burnt fish earlier, but the latter refused to let that slide, and that led to an argument between the two.

Elise was named the red team's second nominee for elimination, with Barbie as the first. During her plea, she said that she started off strong, was not done yet and that she repeated her orders to the red team despite the mistakes. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she said that there was nowhere to hide now, and believed that Michelle and Dana were the weakest chefs on the red team now.[27]

Episode 11[]

Main article: Episode 1711 - Trying to Pasta Test

Back at the dorms, Elise agreed to an alliance with Jennifer as she believed Dana and Michelle were the weakest links on the red team.

During the Budget Challenge, Elise knew that buying the ingredients was easy, it was harder to keep in their budget. During the cooking, she revealed that she was doing a take on paella, even though that was Spanish food, and a concerned Ramsay asked the red team if they were okay due to the unusual cultures being used. After Jennifer's mixed performance, she deemed not a great start for the red team. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged, was confident that her dish would be enough for the red team to finally leave for that day, and presented her seafood pasta with sausage. It was praised for being delicious, and she scored $93, much to her excitement.

The red team won the challenge $320-$313, Elise was overjoyed that they did not have to do another punishment, and they were rewarded with a go-karting experience along with lunch. During the reward, she said that while she would have rather had something than a go-kart race, she was competitive in what she did normally, and fought with Dana for first place, only for her to win. During lunch, she did not speak up about the consensus that there would no longer be fighting without Barbie as she felt they were all pretending to get along and told Michelle that Barbie was not the sole problem with the red team.

During dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station. At the start of service, she and Jennifer communicated with each other, and that it was the first time that season where she was on hot appetizers, before knowing that while there was nowhere to hide with four people in the kitchen, she was confident in her risotto. It paid out as her appetizers were accepted. After Dana served raw lamb, she was speechless over that, and when the latter served overcooked Wellingtons, she complained that the hits were still coming. After the red team got kicked out of service, she was pissed that they got booted on the final ticket, accused Dana of having a meltdown, and hoped that her alliance with Jennifer was still there.

The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Elise considered Dana for her poor performance that night, and Michelle for not listening and not accepting responsibility. However, she was considered for elimination by the two, she argued that she did not have a bad night and that they were intimidated by her, but Dana called her a bully and Michelle reminded her that they could not base it off of just one night. However, she accused the two of being a clique called Dachelle, and later, she and Jennifer agreed.

Elise was one of the three nominees from the red team along with Dana and Michelle as the red team failed to agree on two nominees. When she claimed that Dachelle voted together, Michelle reminded her that she voted for Dana, and during her plea, she claimed that she was a leader and that she wanted to lead. After Michelle accused her of taking things too seriously, and Dana calling her a bully, she denied that, but the latter reminded the multiple fights she had with everybody, with Robyn even reminding her about the argument they had over meat after the opening night. She survived elimination, and while being dismissed, she claimed that Michelle would not last long being on her own.[28]

Episode 12[]

Main article: Episode 1712 - Five is the New Black

During the first Black Jackets Challenge, also known as the Taste It Now Make It Challenge, Elise used sea bass, cauliflower and peas, rutabaga, fava bean, and chives in order to recreate Ramsay's dish. She knew that it was do or die at that moment, and declared that she was going to turn up the heat for a black jacket. When presented her dish to Ramsay, she struggled to explain her dish, with Nick accusing her of being unsure of herself. While she got the fish protein correct, she failed to get both the purée and hash components correct. She lost the challenge to both Milly and Nick and was forced to participate in the second challenge.

During the second Black Jackets Challenge, Elise used lobster, jasmine rice, asparagus, and parmesan cheese for her dish. At one point, she pushed Michelle out of the way for her ingredient, felt that she thrived under the pressure, and wanted to shine in the black jackets. She was the final person to have her dish judged by Ramsay, was confident that she was the strongest chef on the red team, hoped she could win a black jacket, and presented her poached lobster tail with parmesan rice and asparagus. However, Ramsay instantly saw that there was something wrong, and showed everybody that she forgot to remove the shit sack from the lobster, much to her great dismay. After Ramsay lectured her that one bite could destroy the taste of the lobster, he handed her dish back without tasting it. She lost the challenge to both Michelle and Benjamin, and she was forced to participate in the final challenge. While waiting at the dorms, she refused to go home now as she put a lot on the line for her second chance.

During the final Black Jackets Challenge, Elise was struggling to decide on what dish she would be making, and while she was upset at herself for getting herself into the final challenge, she wanted a black jacket more than anything. However, she put her potatoes into the blender, causing the four black jackets that they would turn out gummy, before finally revealing that she was making a pan-seared filet mignon with rainbow Swiss chard, mushroom duxelles, and potato purée. Then, she accused Robyn of not doing anything remarkable, that Jennifer was not a leader, said that the two were a clique and that she can do it by herself, before asking for more thyme at the 90-second mark. She was the second person to have her dish judged by Ramsay, noted that it has been a rough day for her, and presented her pan-seared filet mignon with potato purée, mushroom duxelles, and rainbow chard. While Ramsay was impressed with the sear, he noticed that the filet was not medium rare like she wanted, even though it was still praised it for tasting tender, and that the potatoes tasted strange.

After the judging, Elise was the first person eliminated, but before leaving, Ramsay praised her for her passion, even though her dish felt short, before allowing her to keep her jacket and told her to keep her head up high. During her exit interview, she argued that she was better than the three dishes she put up that day, was very disappointed in not getting a black jacket, and felt that the pressure got to her. Ramsay gave no comment on her elimination and she didn't receive the burning picture sequence.[29]

Elise was one of the eight chefs that returned for the final dinner service. She was Michelle's fourth and final pick after Nick, Dana, and Milly. After being picked, she commented that if she were on Benjamin’s team, she would have given 250% for him.[30]

Back at the dorms, Elise still showed a sour attitude towards Michelle as she did not write any of the notes down like the other chefs, stated that she did not want to be back, but decided not to purposely sabotage anybody. Then, when she gave a halfhearted confirmation that she was good, Nick confronted her on that, causing her to snap at him as Nick called her a sore loser and a bully. During prep, Michelle still had trouble trying to control her, who went off after the former asked her about her appetizer station. She criticized Michelle’s repetitive instructions, compared her voice to nails on the chalkboard, but when an annoyed Nick told her to go home if she was going to be rude that night, it led to an argument. Then, she threw a rubber glove at Dana.

During dinner service, Elise was on the appetizer station. While she begrudgingly wanted to get Michelle out of the gates strong, she would not help if anything else when wrong, before having her appetizers accepted, even though Dana told her to thank Michelle’s positive comment. Later, she got immense pleasure seeing Michelle sent to the pantry room, and when asked for a risotto refire without broth, she begrudgingly did it. Michelle eventually won the finale over Benjamin, but during the celebration, she openly cried about losing that season, despite Barbie reminding her that she was at least on the winning team.[31]

  • (To Barbie) "Every single time you get on the meat station, that shit is fucking moo... cluck cluck, like that kind of raw. That shit was CLUCKIN'!"
  • "Barbie is a crazy old lady. Not just like 'girl you crazy', but like BATSHIT CRAZY."
  • Elise: (To Barbie during elimination) "And you can't cook meat, your shit be CLUCKIN' at the fucking pass, CLUCK! Her shit be cluckin'."
    Jennifer: "And a moo."
Elise: "Moo, oh yeah, her shit mooin' too you right, she could milk that shit it was so alive."
  • (After Van's elimination) "Van left, that was very unexpected. It really doesn't make any sense, Barbie should've definitely gone home. I want Barbie to go home, but not bad enough to throw a dinner service, she'll do that to herself. And let's not forget that Barbie is a whole 'nother level crazy, 'you forgot your meds at home' crazy, like 'is it time for your dosage yet?' crazy."
  • "They say good black don't crack."
  • (About Michelle during service) "I just want to slap her to reality, it's like wake the fuck up, like I didn't fuck your course like this why are you fucking mine?"
  • (About Barbie) "I'm trying to help and she's just yelling at me so you know what? If you don't want this life-support, this raft that I'm trying to offer you then drown."
  • (After Michelle throws water bottle at her) "WATCH THAT SHIT! I DON'T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU FRUSTRATED DON'T THROW NO SHIT AT ME! YOU TRIPPIN'!"
  • (During Barbie's plea) "She's gon' try to paint her, like she's better than me, but we all know that that was the worst!"
  • (To red team) "Y'ALL ARE NOT REAL WITH YOURSELVES. PERIOD."
  • Elise: (To blue team about red team's disastrous dinner service) "THEY'RE FULL OF SHIT! I'll tell you what happened. I cooked to perfection for everybody's course, when it came to mine... everybody fucked my shit up. Now am I not suppose to think that that wasn't sabotage? The first tray of fish came up fucking burnt."
    Robyn: "Who cooked them?"
    Elise: "JENNIFER."
  • (To Jennifer) "I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU LIKE YOU'RE FUCKING HERE. YOU AIN'T PERFECT."
  • (About Dana and Michelle putting her up for elimination) "I cooked with perfection tonight and they're trying to put me up again! Michelle and Dana. They're definitely like a clique, I'mma call them Dachelle... because they're one, they're one thing, they're like Dachelle."
  • (After elimination) "I'm absolutely better than those three dishes I put out today, and I'm definitely embarrassed by my performance. Mentally I was cooked, and I should've gotten that black jacket. I guess you could say the pressure got to me a bit today."
  • (To Dana after throwing a rubber glove at her) "Don't act like you've never had rubber in your face."
  • (To Michelle) "Yes, I'm setting up my station for the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th time!"
  • (After Michelle won) "I really don't have anything to say right now... I didn't come here not to win... (cries)"
  • (To Nick) "News flash Nick, ya lost yesterday. So it's not about you, ok?"
