The eighteen new chefs arrived at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as Ramsay wanted them to see the first official Hell's Kitchen Restaurant. Marino greeted the chefs at the front doors and took them inside the restaurant. As the chefs drank champagne, they got to know each other. Eventually, Ramsay came in, explained that the Hell's Kitchen Restaurant was built on the show's eighteen-season legacy, and revealed that it was one of the highest-grossing restaurants in America. Ramsay revealed that he brought them to the restaurant for inspiration because the winner of that season would become the Head Chef at the brand-new Hell's Kitchen Restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Ramsay admitted that they would not be competing in the real Hell's Kitchen restaurant due to the demand, so they would be going to Los Angeles to compete. The chefs returned to the bus to head to the airport, Marino handed out the tickets, and once arriving at the strip, they see a helicopter revving up, with Ramsay taking it and flying off. After some time, the chefs were called in for boarding, but as the chefs walked through the doors, they found themselves standing inside the restaurant. Then, Ramsay appeared in his chef jacket, revealed that for the first time in the show's history, Hell's Kitchen would take place in Las Vegas and had some performers do some shows for the chefs. While the chefs could not do any of the tricks they saw, they reaffirmed that they could indeed cook to Ramsay.
During the Signature Dish Challenge, Eliott went up against Mary Lou, they were the first pair to play for their ingredients, and they received salmon, Brussel sprouts, and brown rice. During the cooking, he decided to blitz the brown rice and coat it around the salmon and hoped Ramsay appreciated his creativity. He was the fifth person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay and presented his rice-encrusted salmon. Ramsay was not happy that he removed the skin and gave him a generous two points. The blue team eventually won the challenge 28-27, and they were rewarded with dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Steak with Ramsay himself joining them and riding on the High Roller. During the reward, he could not believe this was happening and felt he was looking down from his own body.[1] After the reward, Adam and Declan were talking about him and Kenneth being the weakest chefs on the Blue team. Adam said that he could not stand the former for pulsing rice in the signature dish and that he needed to go. Adam also felt he was in over his head and had no idea what was going to happen.
The next day, Eliott saw the helicopter above them and saw a crate onboard, feeling that something would go down. During the cooking in the Creative Shrimp Challenge, he said he was a big-time seafood fan due to being a salt fisher in New Jersey, and felt confident. When he had his dish tasted by Sous Chef Jason, he told the latter that he used salt, pepper, and rice vinegar for seasoning when asked. He was one of the two chefs from the blue team that made the worst shrimp dishes, with Kenneth as the second, and they joined Nikki and Jordan from the red team. He was the second person to present his dish and made a sautéed white shrimp with a spring vegetable succotash. Ramsay felt that the succotash was a greasy clump of vegetables with sautéed shrimp. While it was worse than Nikki and Jordan's dishes, he survived elimination as Kenneth's was worse than his. However, Ramsay warned him to wake up.
Later that day, Eliott, who was a knife nut, loved his brand-new Henkel knife kit. When the Sous Chefs went over the menu, he knew he came off two poor challenge performances and felt overwhelmed. During dinner service, he was on the garnish station with Cody. When Drew asked the garnish station for a time, he did not respond to his questions as Ramsay asked what the fuck he was doing as he was standing around not cooking anything, which Declan compared his performance to E.T. being lost. After Drew served raw lamb came out raw, he was one of the three male chefs Ramsay kicked out of the kitchen due to his lack of help amongst his team. Eventually, the rest of the blue team were kicked out after too many mistakes.
The blue team lost the service, Ramsay reminded Eliott of how he stood around doing nothing, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, he said that they went down as a team but knew that he lacked the communication skills that night. However, when he blamed it on a lack of direction, Cody got frustrated as they all had a sense of direction, and it meant it was not his time to compete.
Eliott was the blue team's second nominee for elimination, with Drew as the first. During his plea, he admitted to losing his sense of focus and direction that night but was confident that it did not reflect on who he was as a person. When Ramsay asked him how he could lose focus when he did nothing, he claimed that he forgot where things went, irritating the former and Lauren laughed at his poor defence. When Ramsay asked him if he was better than Drew, he said they had skills in different places. Even though he was trying to be nice, everyone, especially Cody and Syann, showed irritation. A frustrated Ramsay asked him again, and after a moment of hesitation, he said he was not better than Drew. With that, Ramsay told him that he made his job easy, and he was eliminated for his string of poor performances, not helping in service, and admitting to being a weak chef, much to the satisfaction of everyone. During his exit interview, he said that he knew the competition would be an ass-kicker but did not realize how hard it would be, before proclaiming that people would see him again.
Ramsay's comment: "Eliminating a chef this early is usually quite hard. But tonight, I didn't have to eliminate a chef. I had to eliminate Eliott." [2]
