Main article: Episode 2102 - Just Wingin' It

The eighteen new chefs arrived in Los Angeles in two separate limos heading to Hell's Kitchen. The limos arrived at Hell's Kitchen, where Marino was waiting for them. Marino greeted the chefs and introduced them to their Sous Chefs Christina and Jason. When Cheyenne saw Christina, she felt like she was a great chef and hoped to have her as a Sous Chef. They explained that there would be obstacles, but you can't let them get in your way. Later, Ramsay was on a monster truck and crashed into a car, shocking the contestants. Ramsay used it as an example of not letting anything get in your way. Ramsay explained like how the limos got them where they wanted to go, he wanted a chef to take him where he wanted to go. Ramsay questioned whether to hire a chef in their 20s or a chef in their 40s and told them that this season would be a battle of the ages. Ramsay told the contestants to separate between a group of 20s and a group of 40s. Ramsay announced the Signature Dish Challenge and gave the chefs 45 minutes to cook their dishes.

During the Signature Dish Challenge, Cheyenne wondered why Ileana would make a risotto on a signature dish challenge since she knows how important it is in Hell's Kitchen. When Ileana got two points, she felt like that was a bad impression of her. She was the sixth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and went up against O'Shay. Before she revealed her dish, she laughed about the orange soda that O'Shay used, to which Ramsay questioned why since she did not have to taste it. She presented a maple bourbon glazed pork chop with a sweet potato puree. Ramsay praised the dish for a beautiful flavor, but criticized it for having an uneven sear and a bitter aftertaste. The red team won the challenge after a tiebreaker at 31, and they were rewarded with a dinner cruise with Chef Ramsay.

The following day, when Ramsay revealed he would give away some punishment passes, Cheyenne knew it would be a game changer.[1] During the Creative Chicken Wing Challenge, she said she would go crazy with a chicken wing sauce that she learned how to make when she began cooking. When Sous Chef Christina tasted her dish, she expressed how the former had an amazing poker face and wished the Chef would get a reaction. She was one of the top three chefs from the blue team from Sous Chef Christina. She was the second person to have his dish judged by Ramsay and presented Asian barbecue wings. Ramsay deemed that they were good and loved the heat and deemed it was better than Vlad's dish. Then she said bye to Vlad and thought she was getting the Punishment Pass. However, she lost the challenge after Alejandro dethroned her. Still, Ramsay told her that her wings were good.

When the chefs got their Henkel knives, Cheyenne felt like it made the competition more real and that it was the night to show what they had. During dinner service, she was at the meat station with Sakari. When Ileana said it would take seven minutes for the lobster tails, she wondered how since it should be three minutes. She thought Ileana should focus on cooking instead of arguing with Alyssa. The red team won the service. After elimination, she felt like the blue team was getting weak since two of them went home during elimination.[2]

Episode 3[]

Main article: Episode 2103 - Clawing Your Way to the Top

The following day, Ramsay asked for volunteers to skateboard on a half pipe. Cheyenne refused to go up. During the Whole Lobster Prep Challenge, she knew that four minutes of the ten-minute time limit would be dedicated to cooking the lobster and then spending the rest of the challenge cleaning it. She was the second chef from the red team to have her attempt judged, and she scored a point. The red team won the challenge 6-5, and they were rewarded with driving European Sports Cars.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the garnish station. She was not seen that night, and the red team won the service. After elimination, Ramsay called everyone back downstairs and announced that the battle of the sexes would begin the following day. She said goodbye the Alejandro, Brett, Sakari, and Vlad and welcomed Mindy, Nicole, and Tara as new teammates.[3]

Episode 4[]

Main article: Episode 2104 - Slipping Down to Hell

During the Creative Sliders Challenge, Cheyenne cooked the lamb sliders with Tara. Her dish was not chosen for judging, but she was confused as to why Sommer would not use her dish over Nicole’s, as the only thing they knew was that the latter was bad at challenges. The red team lost the challenge 14-16, and they were punished by prepping potatoes for fries needed for the following service.

The following day, Cheyenne explained that Nicole had a rescue dog named Sandwich, which was the same word as the latter’s safe word. This was due to Mindy getting confused over the meaning of the safe word. During dinner service, she was at the appetizer station with Tara. At one point, she could see the meat station go up in flames. The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate three people for elimination. She called it a tough decision during deliberation as having a third nominee would hurt someone’s feelings. Still, she knew someone from fish would be nominated. Then, she believed Ramsay would like to see the meat station nominated, meaning Sommer and Alyssa. Lastly, she was not enthusiastic about nominating Nicole, fearing Ramsay would not like that decision.

She was not nominated for elimination.[4]

Episode 5[]

Main article: Episode 2105 - Breakfast 911

During the Emergency Workers Breakfast Service Challenge, Cheyenne was at the steak station with Mindy. She was not seen much except for expressing concern about Dafne and Tara's performance. The red team won the challenge and they were rewarded with a Hollywood Hills party at a local mansion with a Korean Mexican fusion cooked by Kogi.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the fish station with Sommer. At one point, she called Tara and Alyssa working at the same station together a nightmare and hoped they communicated. Later, she felt they were a well-oiled machine in the red kitchen and hoped to keep the momentum up. However, she did not fire a salmon on order and was forced to tell Ramsay and the women the truth. Still, she got it accepted. The red team won the service.[5]

Episode 6[]

Main article: Episode 2106 - Til Chef Do Us Part

Before the Trenton and Macee Wedding Planning Challenge, Cheyenne revealed that she was one of the five chefs who was not married. She cooked the beef entrée with Mindy, they were the fourth pair to have their dishes judged, and they went up against Alex. She made a filet with chipotle demi-glaze, but it was tasted without a review. She lost that round to Alex, and the red team lost the challenge 2-4. They were punished by making a six-tiered Bailey's Irish cream cake for the wedding.

During the Trenton and Macee Wedding Service, Cheyenne was at the fish station with Tara. She was excited to cook for Trenton and Macee as the wedding reminded her of her girlfriend, and she knew the latter wanted her to be focused. Her scallops were accepted, and the guests on the red side enjoyed their appetizers. When Billy struggled with his scallops, Ramsay called her down and told her to cook the scallops. Thanks to her, the first order from the blue kitchen was sent out. When Alyssa failed to fire her collard greens, she said she saw no game from the former. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, she deemed Mindy and Sommer's performance bad, but she did not want Alyssa to stay due to her confusion all night. Then, she told the women about having to help the men earlier and deemed them weak.

Cheyenne was not nominated for elimination. While being dismissed, she felt that a weight was lifted off her shoulders.[6]

Episode 7[]

Main article: Episode 2107 - Wok This Way

During the Dome Challenge, Cheyenne grabbed pork tenderloin, snap peas, and Nori seaweed for her dish. She lost the sweet potatoes to Mindy, and when she grabbed snap peas, she said it would not be a wok in the park for her. She was the third person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against Brett. She made a pork tenderloin roulade with snap pea stir fry. It was praised for stuffing the pork and using the hoisin to her advantage. She won that round over Brett, and the red team won the challenge 3-2. They were rewarded with a rooftop dance party and brand-new HexClad sets.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the meat station with Ileana. When Tara did not respond to Mindy, she called the former out on that. When the women began firing entrées, she felt there should be no reason she or Ileana could struggle on meat. However, she walked up a raw lamb, and Ramsay told her to quickly put it back in the pan. She got concerned as she did not want to let the woman down and be seen as a liability, but she got the refire accepted. Although both teams were named joint-winner, Ramsay still asked them to nominate two each. During deliberation, she considered the possibility of nominating Tara instead of Ileana, as the former only worked appetizers and fish for most of her time in Hell's Kitchen.

She was not nominated for elimination.[7]

Episode 8[]

Main article: Episode 2108 - Game On!

Back at the dorms, Cheyenne wondered what would have happened if Tara was nominated instead of Ileana. However, Tara overheard that and got upset, as it meant her team did not support her. The following day, Ileana told her how the former's mentor comforted her when she had a meltdown at work, feeling grateful for him.

Cheyenne cooked the venison with Ileana during the Game Meat Challenge. Before the judging, her dish was chosen as Ileana's sugar over caramelized. When Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook came into guest judge the challenge, she was nervous as they were experts in game meat. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged, and she went up against Brett. She made a seared venison with beet puree and sunchoke hash. While the meat was dry, the sides redeemed the dish as they paired well with the venison. She scored that round over Brett, and the red team won the challenge 2-1. They were rewarded with a bowling trip at Lucky Strike Hollywood and lunch provided by Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook. During the reward, she said it was fun to spend the reward with Alex as she considered him a cool dad figure and called it one of the best rewards she had been on.

Because Cheyenne had her dish judged earlier, she did not have to compete in the Cook For Your Life Challenge. When she saw Ileana put eggplant into the blender, she feared it would look terrible. When Alex cooked basic ingredients, she was surprised he was doing that, but Brett argued that the former was cooking what he knew.[8]

Episode 9[]

Main article: Episode 2109 - Putting the Carne in Carnival

Before the Creative Steak Challenge, Cheyenne welcomed Brett as a new teammate. In part one, she went up against Abe in the ribeye round, and they competed in a pie-eating contest. However, she said she did not like eating under pressure. She lost to Abe and had to cook five minutes after he started. She was the third chef from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay, and she made a bourbon-flavored ribeye. It had a great-tasting sauce, and she scored that round over Abe. The red team won the challenge 3-2, and they were rewarded with an overnight trip to the Paradise Point hotel in San Diego, where they stayed in the Presidential suite and rode jet skis. During the reward, she got scared over Sommer's driving. At dinner, she did not have confidence in Tara on meat as the latter kept shutting down when.

Cheyenne was at the appetizer station with Sommer during the Steak Night dinner service. After Tara served a raw ribeye, she said her fear had come true. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, she and Brett accused Tara of not being heard that night. She felt that Tara's lack of communication angered Ramsay the most, but the latter felt that her night was fine other than the two bad steaks. Now realizing that she considered her a weak chef, Tara confronted he terrible attitude.

She was not nominated for elimination.[9]

Episode 10[]

Main article: Episode 2110 - Everyone's Taco'ing About It

During the Creative Taco Challenge, Cheyenne cooked the beef tacos and told Sous Chef Christina her jalapeno sauce that her girlfriend introduced to her. She was the fourth person from the red team to have her dish judged, and she went up against Alex, who presented the blue team's dish. She made skirt steak tacos marinated in cayenne paprika. Danny Trejo loved them despite disliking cayenne peppers, and she scored that round over the blue team. The red team won the challenge after a tie at three each, and they were rewarded with playing in Zorb balls, eating gourmet tacos, and brand-new Vitamix blenders. When the red team received their blenders, she called the best reward yet. During the reward, she compared the experience to a giant hamster ball.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the meat station. She took notice of Brett's iffy performance and said there was no room left to hide. On entrées, she thought about all the bad things that could happen if she was not careful, and she ended up burning her hand while putting out a fire. Ramsay sent her to the medic to treat the burn and told Dafne to take over the meat station. She was checked for three burned fingers, and she called it the worst burn she had had. She got angry that she had made that mistake and hoped it was not why she went home and the red team lost that night. Still, she managed to return to the kitchen, and after the red team won the service, she showed Ramsay her burn. He gave her advice on how to treat it.

At the Elimination Ceremony, Cheyenne said goodbye to Brett as the latter was reassigned to the blue team.[10]

Episode 11[]

Main article: Episode 2111 - 21st Annual Blind Taste Test

The following day, Ramsay gave the chefs Italian dishes cooked by Marino. As the chefs tasted the dishes, Cheyenne thought the pizza tasted gross, but she did not say anything out of respect to Marino. It was revealed that the food was frozen, and Ramsay used them to introduce the Blind Taste Test. During Dafne's turn, she was not worried about the former's performance but got dumped with alfredo sauce. She was the final person from the red team to compete, and she went up against Alejandro. She got pineapple and potato, resulting in Sommer getting the marinara dump. The red team won the challenge 5-4, and they were rewarded with a trip to Horses of Hollywood for horseback riding and an Italian picnic. During the reward, she felt nervous around the horses, but she sucked it up and rode with the women as they enjoyed the ride.

When Ramsay announced that Justin Turner was dining in the Charity Night dinner service, Cheyenne got excited as she used to watch Turner with her father. She was in charge of the pan-seared scallops course and agreed with Brett on six minutes. However, Brett told the men to drop the scallops without warning Ramsay, forcing the latter to tell her what was happening. She told the women to drop the scallops and was mad that Brett went behind her. Then, she had Tara help her with plating and got her course out. During the filet mignon course, she was impressed with Sommer's leadership as she trusted the latter. Later, Sommer told her and Tara to pull off ready steaks. After service, Ramsay named Sommer the "Best of the Best" in the red team. During deliberation, Sommer told her that she could have delegated better on the plating. Still, she did not think she was weak because she was consistent in services.

She was not nominated for elimination.[11]

Episode 12[]

Main article: Episode 2112 - What in Hell's Kitchen?

The following day, the Sous Chefs had the chefs prepare a display for some guests Ramsay invited. Once everything was ready, everyone saw skydivers drop down from the sky and land on the purple carpet they laid out. Ramsay introduced the chefs to the HK Fliers and revealed that they brought an important message to them. They turned around to show letters that spelt black jackets, exciting everyone as it meant the Black Jackets Challenge had arrived. Cheyenne knew getting one was important and said it was crazy she came that far in the competition, hoping she brought something good to earn one.

During the first Black Jackets Challenge, Cheyenne was confident that her fettucine dish would be great and said she would get a black jacket no matter what. However, Sous Chef Christina warned her to fire it at the last minute as the pasta was thinly made. She was the third chef to have her dish judged by Ramsay. She made a fettuccine pasta with pepper and three-cheese cream sauce, which was inspired by her father. It was overcooked due to the thin pasta, and she lost the challenge to Sommer and Dafne. She was forced to compete in the second challenge.

Cheyenne got the Ramsay’s Kitchen menu during the second Black Jackets Challenge and picked scallops and slab bacon. During the cooking, she made a pomegranate gastric and felt confident as she made scallops and bacon jam back home. She was the third chef to have her dish judged by Ramsay and made scallops with pomegranate gastric and apricot bacon jam. Ramsay found the reduction worked well, but he thought that the orange juice took it a step too far despite having perfectly cooked scallops. She lost the challenge to Alejandro and Alex and was forced to compete in the final challenge.

During the final Black Jackets Challenge, Cheyenne was relieved when she saw the pork chop, as she loved working with that protein. During the cooking, she was focused on what to do, did things she felt comfortable with, and felt safe for the first time in the competition. She made a double pork chop with braised cabbage and sweet potato puree. After walking her dish up to Ramsay, he had her, Sakari, and Tara go up to his office so he could do something. Once inside, she wondered if Ramsay was bringing everyone down to taste their dishes. Indeed, it was true. Sommer found her dish dry, but Dafne found it well-balanced and voted for her. Then, Alejandro thought her dish was juicy and had a better cook than Sakari's, instantly realizing that he was eating her dish. Lastly, Alex liked her dish as it had more seasoning than Sakari’s despite being overcooked.

After the judging was done, Sous Chef Jason came to Ramsay’s office to bring the three chefs back to the dining room. After Sakari was eliminated, Cheyenne felt she had it as she was unimpressed by Tara’s onion ring. She won the challenge and received the final black jacket after a stressful day, much to her excitement. After Tara was eliminated, the final five celebrated their milestone as Ramsay gave them two plane tickets to go anywhere courtesy of Allegiant Airlines. She said she made it past her short-term goal of being in the final eight and said her new plan was to win.[12]

Episode 13[]

Main article: Episode 2113 - The Fab Five Take Flight

Later that evening, everyone gathered in the dining room and began talking about the Covid-19 Pandemic. Cheyenne revealed that she was in college when it happened and never returned after a supposed two-week break.

During the King of the Hill Challenge, Cheyenne picked flight number 19 and got to New Orleans, Louisiana. She said she worked with New Orleans cuisine at her bistro, so she felt confident she would do well. She was the final person to find her bag. During the cooking, she noticed that Sommer's ingredients were similar to what the latter cooked in the competition. She hoped she would whoop her ass. Later, she felt confident using the New Orleans ingredients as she seasoned her shrimp with Cajun seasoning. She was the fourth chef to have her dish judged and presented her shrimp jambalaya with andouille sausage. Michael Cimarusti called it a beautiful mountain and felt she made a wonderful sauce. After a tough decision, the judges agreed that her dish was better than Sommer’s, giving her the throne. Once she sat down, she was thrilled to be in first class for the first time.

Cheyenne won the challenge after outlasting Dafne. She was rewarded with an offroad trip through the Los Angeles canyons and a complete OXO cooking set. That pumped her up, and Ramsay asked her who she would like to bring with her on the reward. She picked Sommer, upsetting Dafne as it meant she had to do a punishment. Once upstairs, Cheyenne felt she was on top as the two women found an OXO cooking set for them. During the reward, she was excited to hit the roads on a UTV, while Sommer was a little nervous despite loving extreme vehicles. She drove first and felt comfortable letting Sommer take her turn. However, Sommer went too fast, and the vehicle flipped when she tried to turn the corner. Fortunately, both were okay, and she thought she could have had another turn. When she and Sommer returned from their reward, they told the others about their accident. However, Alejandro got annoyed by how loud Sommer spoke, leading her to comment on their beef.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the fish station. On the first order, Alejandro told her he needed two more minutes on his rice and later, sent up his risottos. However, she walked up a raw lobster tail, and everyone began talking over each other on the refire. That annoyed Ramsay, and he told her to communicate with Dafne. Sommer did not want to see the group fail as she got her refire accepted. She asked Dafne for a count on fish orders on the following order. However, Dafne got distracted by her own work and did not say anything, much to her annoyance. She felt everyone was not talking with her, and Ramsay said he heard more noise from a library. While she got her scallops to the pass, she did not have another ready as she did not know two were on order. So, she dropped another order, but Ramsay was not happy she did not have it ready on time and demanded she told the truth. She admitted to forgetting the order but blamed Dafne for not telling her that earlier. Then, she only had one lobster tail ready and had the other one ready seconds later, making Ramsay further frustrated. He took the final five to the pass after sending the risottos out and scolded them for their sloppy start. Ramsay told her to talk as he refused to serve the dining room like that. Dafne told her to get a grip, and the black jackets were able to push out some appetizers. On entrées, Dafne walked up ice-cold mushrooms, and she knew it was not cool to send up cold garnishes as there was no excuse. After Dafne walked her refire, Cheyenne and Alex walked up their proteins and got them accepted. On the following order, Ramsay told her, Dafne, and Alex to be in sync as she kept giving inconsistent timings. She promised to be ready in four minutes, but Alex felt they were not in sync as she had a fire erupt at her station. Ramsay accused her of being out of control before pulling her aside, as Alex knew they could not afford to make hiccups. Ramsay told her to calm down as he refused to harm anyone, including herself, and she knew she should not have made that mistake. While Dafne had her garnishes ready, she continued to perform flustered as the former accused her of being off-planet. Alex got his Wellingtons accepted, but she served a raw salmon. Getting further frustrated by the mistakes, Ramsay dragged the final to the front to show the raw salmon before taking them to the pantry room. Ramsay reminded the five that they earned their black jackets for a reason, but now, they were performing poorly due to no communication, no delegation, and no unity. After Ramsay ordered them to get it together, Alex told Dafne to communicate with him, and he would help her. As the final five returned to the kitchen, Alex stepped up and helped her get the salmon refire accepted. On their next order, Alex stammered on four minutes, but she kept yelling out three minutes, much to Dafne’s annoyance. While Dafne needed more time on garnish, she and Alex claimed they were ready with their proteins. That annoyed Ramsay that they were waiting on garnish, but Dafne told them to walk their proteins. However, Ramsay discovered that her salmon was raw and Alex’s New York striploins were medium and rare, respectively. That was the final straw as Ramsay kicked the final five out of the kitchen.

The final five were tasked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Alejandro and Alex knew Cheyenne had the most mistakes that night, but she nominated Alex and Dafne for nomination. She recalled how Dafne gave her incorrect salmon orders, but the latter argued that she did not want to pile on her already frazzled state of mind and did not like to scream. Still, she believed that Dafne deserved to go home as she did not communicate with her. In contrast, Dafne thought she was trying to make her the weakest link when she gave up.

Cheyenne was the first nominee for elimination, with Dafne as the second. During Dafne's plea, the former thought she was too flustered to listen to her and failed to keep her composure. During her plea, she said she was passionate and had an off night before arguing against Dafne’s claims by stating the latter did not give her communication. Dafne argued against that and said she looked lost. She was eliminated for struggling with fish and failing to bounce back. Before leaving, Ramsay told her that she stood out on many occasions for her young age and believed she would get there. During her exit interview, she received a retrospective montage of her time.

Ramsay's comment: "As the youngest chef in this competition, Cheyenne came a long way. Unfortunately for her, the ride ends a few stops short of Atlantic City."[13]

Cheyenne was one of the seven chefs that returned for the final dinner service. She watched the Final Menu Challenge with the others. She was Alex's third pick for his team, after Alejandro and Brett, and was followed by Tara. She was pleased to be on Alex's team as she was still sore about Dafne throwing her under the bus on her elimination night.[14] When Alex went over the menu, he told her the meat temperatures he wanted.

During dinner service, Cheyenne was at the meat station. She wanted to see Alex win with her comeback performance after she had a miserable night on the first black jackets service. She called out three minutes for her meat, but one of the steaks she sent up was raw. Alex was surprised by that as he knew she accomplished a lot at her young age, and she felt sick for letting the former down. Still, she got her refire accepted. Alex eventually won the finale over Dafne.[15]
