The eighteen Young Guns arrive at Las Vegas on a bus heading to Hell's Kitchen, and they drove past the real Hell's Kitchen restaurant. Antonio knew somebody on the bus would win. The bus arrived at Hell's Kitchen, where Marino greeted the chefs. Marino explained that Ramsay created a museum to celebrate the past nineteen seasons in honor of the twentieth season. Giving the tour were Shakala and Sean, who led the chefs into the museum. As the chefs toured the museum, they saw photos of past contestants, hung jackets, the Hell's Kitchen Wall of Fame, and lines said from the past seasons. Then, they see video clips of moments from the show. The last stop was an exhibit of the doors used to reveal the winner of each season. He said that he went through a lot to win Hell's Kitchen, such as going through culinary school, working three jobs, and sleeping for 45 minutes. Sean said that the final part of the tour was a documentary film about the show's history. However, the curtain pulled back to reveal an audience waiting for them and Ramsay on a stage behind them. Once on stage, Ramsay explained that the museum was meant to showcase the past, while the eighteen of them were the future. Ramsay added that the desire to become a chef was a dream for many young people, and food has evolved over the years since the show began. So, Ramsay announced that the season's winner would become his protégé and become the new Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. Afterwards, Ramsay announced the Signature Dish Challenge and gave the chefs 45 minutes to cook their dishes.
During the Signature Dish Challenge, Antonio was confident as he was there to win. He was the fifth person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Josie. When he saw Josie's dish, he thought it looked like baby food with noodles on top and said it would not be a dish he would serve to Ramsay. He made a blue cheese smothered pork chop, it was praised for having a beautiful caramelization, and he scored four points. Afterwards, he gave a wink to his parents. When Jay revealed his crawfish etouffee, he did not understand why the former would make a dish like that in 45 minutes.
The blue team lost the challenge 28-30, and Antonio was upset the men lost by a two-point margin. They were punished by taking in deliveries for ingredients to make stock. During the punishment, he was not happy as he scored four points along with most of his teammates.[1]
During the Alcohol Challenge, Sam shared his pineapple with Antonio. When the blue team discussed who to put up for their Top Three, he wanted to use his ceviche. Even though Steve felt it was nearly inedible, he forcibly wanted it on the Top 3. Despite Sam's uncertainty about using his dish, it made it into the men's Top 3 as time ran out. He was the first person to have his dish judged by Ramsay and presented shrimp ceviche in a caramelized tequila and brown sugar pineapple. While Ramsay liked the presentation, he took multiple chunks of shrimp off the plate and was not impressed the men put it in the Top 3. Ramsay could only praise the avocado as he could not taste the tequila, and the ceviche looked like it was chewed up and spat out. He lost the challenge to Steve, and then, the latter named him one of three people in the bottom three. He was not nominated by Ramsay.
Back at the dorms, Antonio apologized to the men for serving Ramsay his ceviche, but Sam felt he oversold it. Trenton got annoyed by his constant apologizes. Still, he said the men had to bounce back, which Sam mocked in the confessionals. During prep, he told the men to bounce back.
During the 300th dinner service, Antonio was on the appetizer station with Kevin. He and Kevin were seen preparing their first order and got it accepted. Later, he wanted the men to bounce back as he kept talking with Payton on timings, but the latter incorrectly thought they were cooking one chicken instead of two for the VIP. When Ramsay asked the men for a time on the order, chaos emerged as he and Payton gave out two different timings. Ramsay forced them into the pantry for a meeting. He told Matthew not to use pacing as an excuse and told the men to communicate and focus. Even though Payton acknowledged his leadership, he did not want to respect him after getting chewed out. The blue team was eventually kicked out after nobody had an idea of timings or what was going on.
The blue team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Antonio wanted everyone on the same page and claimed that he was trying to help. He considered nominating the meat station, Payton and Matthew.
He was not nominated for elimination.[2]
Episode 3[]

While going back to the dorms, Antonio was pissed because he knew the men were there for a reason.
During the Whole Squid Prep Challenge, Antonio was the first of his team to go into the dunk tank and started grabbing their squids. He came out with his. He had his first attempt ready to present confidently, but Ramsay rejected it for still having some guts on the mantle. Trenton got pissed at him for floundering for the men. He got his second attempt accepted, and near the end of the challenge, he finished his third attempt. He collided with Emily as he tried to present his third, but Ramsay judged the former's plate first. The blue team lost the challenge 14-16. They were punished by taking in seafood deliveries, breaking down 50 pounds of squid and shrimp, and eating calamari sandwiches with unpleasant sauces. During the punishment, he tried to get the men pumped up for service. However, Trenton reminded him he had the only poor squid of the challenge, and Sam wished he would shut up.
During dinner service, Antonio was at the meat station with Alex. He was pumped on meat as it took finesse to cook proteins and thought he and Alex would kill it. However, Ramsay stopped him from slicing the lamb. On the six top order, he called out eight minutes, but Ramsay wanted six instead. When the men went into the pantry after serving raw chicken, Ramsay asked where the drive was. He claimed it was inside themselves, but Ramsay got angry when he used the word baby as they were cooking like babies and standing like idiots. Ramsay ordered them to get out there and show some passion while warning him he would give him a diaper if he said baby again. The blue team got kicked out after serving raw chicken on the refire.
The blue team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Antonio blamed the raw chicken for sending them out. Still, Alex reminded the men about his need for a second opinion. He wanted a diplomatic vote and voted for himself because he was on meat with Alex, with Jay as his second. Still, Kevin was not impressed by that. Payton nominated him based on his self-nomination. Still, he denied doing so despite video footage clearly showing him doing that. Trenton agreed with what Payton heard, but he was still defensive. That caused Payton to lose trust in him.
Antonio was not nominated for elimination, but when Alex blamed him for the chicken gate fiasco, he was called down by Ramsay. He joined Alex, Jay, Trenton, and Sam. He denied touching the chicken and was sent back in line after everything was sorted out. He survived elimination.[3]
Episode 4[]
- Main article: Episode 2004 - Young Guns: Young Guns Going Big
Back at the dorms, Antonio felt mental pain after that night and believed it was the worst part of his life. He already went through being homeless and nearly losing his mother. Still, he realized that everything is being tested in Hell’s Kitchen. Later, he wanted to dig the men out of the ditch as they were already six feet down, but Steve made light of the mood by stating he was 6 feet.
During the Paris Hotel Brunch Service Challenge, Antonio was on the omelet station with Sam. He was not seen, and the blue team lost the challenge. They were punished by preparing 600 boxes worth of pastries for different Caesar’s locations. Back at the dorms, he demanded answers, but Alex argued that his rested steaks were the reason for being overcooked. However, he accused Alex of not being confident about timings like he was about the chicken from the previous service and felt he was blaming Payton. Alex argued against that, while Sam got annoyed by his rising ego and called him out for that. Trenton reminded him of how his ceviche and squid brought the men down due to his poor leadership. Trenton was frustrated by his teammates as he challenged him to step up as a leader. During the punishment, he deemed Payton's eclairs terrible and could not believe they had to make 600 boxes when they only completed one.
During dinner service, Antonio was at the fish station. At one point, he and Steve communicated as the latter wanted everyone on top of everything. However, just when Alex walked up the cauliflower garnish, he shouted that he needed forty-five more seconds for scallops. Alex did not know why he was already struggling and wanted them to win something finally. When he walked up the scallops, Ramsay and Sous Chef Jason saw them half seared and half raw. Ramsay the men for their opinion, and Payton and Sam said it was raw. Despite that, he got his refire accepted. When Alex said he needed a breather due to being flustered, he got annoyed as nobody should ever tell Ramsay that they were flustered. Later, Sam reminded him about the mussel sauce for the halibut and refused to have another terrible service in the blue kitchen. So, Sam got vocal at him for the sauce but got annoyed by his arrogance. When Sam walked the Wellington, Kevin told him to walk the halibut. However, he needed ten more seconds, leading an impatient Sam to jump over and help. An embarrassed Ramsay said he would not have sliced the Wellington had he knew he was late, but the halibut was eventually served. One hour into service, he had Alex walk his salmon up, but it turned out to be raw.
Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Sam and Alex nominated Antonio. However, he said he had a bad day and refused to give up without a fight.
Antonio was named the blue team's second nominee, with Alex as the first. They joined Brynn and Josie from the red team. Later, Victoria joined them. During his plea, he said he would bounce back from his mistakes. He survived elimination. After Alex's elimination, he said goodbye to Sam and Payton as they were reassigned to the blue team and welcomed Victoria, Emily, and Megan as new teammates.[4]

During the Emoji Jacket Challenge, Steve asked Antonio to count his meatballs, which were three. Then, Kevin double-checked his recipe. He made the Philly cheesesteak. He was the fourth person from the blue team to have his dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Payton. His dish tasted good, and he won that round. The blue team lost the challenge 2-4, and they were punished by cleaning the Eiffel Tower while wearing French maid outfits. During the punishment, he wanted to eat Mexican food.
During dinner service, Antonio served a shaved white asparagus and fraiche salad with fried egg tableside. At one point, Ramsay pulled him aside and had him wipe the sweat off his forehead, which Megan deemed gross. The blue team won the service.[5]

Before the Megan 21st Planning Challenge, a picture of Antonio in a fur coat was shown. He said he was thrifting. During the cooking, he said he was determined to impress Megan. Also, he said that he, Kevin, and Trenton were the only chefs that have not gone for a reward, which he desperately wanted. He cooked one of the blue team's three appetizers. He was the third person from the blue team to have his dish judged and went up against Sam. He made lobster bacon mac and cheese. It had a perfect cook, he scored that round, and he thanked Megan. When the score was tied at three each, he prayed for Megan to pick a blue dish. The blue team won the tiebreaker, and they were rewarded with a flow riding experience on the roof of Planet Hollywood and lunch proved by Café Hollywood. During the reward, he toasted the blue team's reward.
During Megan's 21st dinner service, Antonio was at the appetizer station with Victoria. He took the lead on appetizers in the blue kitchen as he knew there was one chance for a 21st birthday. He said he would never forgive himself if he messed things up, only to send up an undercooked carbonara. Ramsay pulled him and Victoria to the pass to see it, warning them that it was not the night to make a mistake. Trenton reminded him that their dishes must be perfect that night, but he got the refire accepted. While working on Megan's table, Ramsay noticed that the blue team was missing an appetizer, and the latter pushed him to get the order ready in thirty seconds before asking Victoria to help him. Fortunately, he got the appetizer out, and Megan's table received their dishes. The blue team won the service.[6]
Episode 7[]
Before the International Cuisine Challenge, Ramsay announced that he would send one person from the blue team and into the red team for an even six. He picked Antonio and gave him a red jersey to trade for his blue one. Sam was not thrilled to have him on the red team, recalling how he got in the way of the blue team due to his ego. During part one, he picked Mexican cuisine and heard pork chop. He went straight to the ball but found his endurance lacking despite getting his ball in. He was the second person from the red team to have his dish judged and went up against Kevin. He said his father’s family was Mexican, and he was ready to kill it. He made a Jack-stuffed pork chop with cumin and oregano and chorizo salsa, and it was praised for elevating the Mexican flavors. He won that round over Kevin and thought that red looked good on him and was happy to be on the red team.
The red team won the challenge 4-2 and were rewarded with a pool party at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino with a private performance by Piff the Magic Dragon poolside. As the red team went to their reward, Emily jokingly called Antonio a traitor. During the reward, he enjoyed the moment as their server, Jade, handed them champagne. Antonio noted that Jade had more cakes than Betty Crocker but focused on his girlfriend back home.
During prep, Antonio felt a different energy in the red kitchen than blue. During dinner service, he was at the appetizer station with Brynn. As the red team worked on their first order, he said he had two rules in the red kitchen: no mistakes and cook your ass off. However, Ramsay caught him cooking risotto off the heat and warned him not to slow the kitchen. Kiya wanted him to back up his talk as the latter was a minute late on risottos. Fortunately, his risotto was accepted, and Kiya was slowly trusting him. Both teams were named joint winners, and while being dismissed, Ramsay deemed his performance in the red kitchen good. He thought the red team was firing on all cylinders compared to the blue team.[7]
Episode 8[]

Back at the dorms, Antonio got a high five from Steve after asking for one.
During the Relay Challenge, Antonio and Brynn were in the kitchen during the second round. He saw that the couscous and lentils mixed in the pot and grabbed a strainer. The red team won the challenge 3-1, and they were rewarded with a zip lining experience at High Linq, going over the Vegas Strip, and having lunch at the Strip Bistro Bar. During the reward, he felt a little bad for the blue team.
Later that day, Ramsay held one-on-one meetings with the chefs. Antonio was the sixth person to have his meeting. Ramsay told him that he needed to stop making silly mistakes. After his interview, he said it was amazing as everyone’s spirits were lifted. He did not compete in the Cook For Your Life Challenge. As he watched the challenge, he thought Keanu and Sam would survive.[8]
Episode 9[]
- Main article: Episode 2009 - Young Guns: A Game Show From Hell
Before the Spells Kitchen Challenge, Antonio was confident about unscrambling words as he played the game on the Sunday papers. He went up twice and competed against Emily both times. On his first attempt, he quickly guessed zucchini, and he placed it on the veal chop. Then, he got rutabaga and gave it to the blue team's sea bass. On his second attempt, he grabbed cauliflower for the ribeye. During the cooking, he cooked a ribeye and worked on the collaborative dish. However, when he asked for opinions about the team-based ribeye dish, he got no response. So, he worked alone. Later, he made a red cauliflower base, and Kiya let him have control. He was the first person from the red team to have his dishes judged by Ramsay and went up against the pair of Trenton and Megan. He made a five-spiced rubbed ribeye fried rice. It was cooked beautifully and tasted delicious. Even though Ramsay could not award him with two points, he did score that round. Then, he presented the red team's rib eye with tomato-based cauliflower. Ramsay was appalled with the presentation, calling it a pile of poop, and asked for an explanation. He called it appalling and found that Brynn did not slice the ribeye properly as some were still attached. After spiting the rice out, Ramsay reminded the red team he gave them an extra dish to see the teamwork come together on one dish. However, Ramsay deemed it a mess, and Josie thought it was more of an individual challenge than a team challenge, which she realized was wrong. Ramsay did not award the dish a point and trashed it.
The red team lost the challenge 3-6, and they were punished by baking bread for Ramsay's Las Vegas restaurants and churning butter. During the punishment, Antonio knew they deserved to do the punishment because they failed to come together as a team. Later, Sous Chef Christina suggested that two of them start on the butter. he and Sam did the churning, but their work movements caused awkwardness towards Josie. Still, he called the work satisfying and therapeutic.
Before the Charity Night dinner service, Antonio showed off his one-step dance in the confessionals after hearing that Deion Sanders would be dining. When Megan struggled to boil the water in the blue kitchen, he was taken aback as spaghetti needed water to cook. He was in charge of the pan-seared scallops. He led the pan-seared scallop course with no issues with some rave reviews from the table. Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, he told Josie that if they were going to go by course, then she would be nominated.
He was not nominated for elimination.[9]
Episode 10[]
- Main article: Episode 2010 - Young Guns: More than a Sticky Situation
Antonio was concerned about the red team’s fate at the patio as he did not want any more drama. He was not in the mood for high school drama, and if Josie was feeling excluded, she should come to them and talk it out.
During the Blind Taste Test, Antonio was the first person from the red team to compete and went up against Steve. He only got sweet potatoes, resulting in Sam getting the caramel corn and the nacho punishment. During Kiya's turn, he got the caramel corn and the nacho punishment. The red team lost the challenge 6-9, and they were punished by cleaning up the dining room and resetting it for that night’s service.
During dinner service, Antonio was at the meat station. At one point, he considered Josie one of their slowest members and feared that her performance on garnish could back them up. Then, he got his proteins accepted. Both teams were named joint winners, and Kiya was named the "Best of the Best" for the red team. During deliberation, Kiya told him that she was nominating Josie as she knew Ramsay did not want a wishy-washy person as his protégée.
He was not nominated for elimination.[10]
Episode 11[]

While going back to the dorms, Antonio felt good to be in the Top 8. It meant being one step closer to becoming Ramsay’s protégée. Then, he said he had faith Steve would survive.
During the Protein Match App Challenge, Antonio cooked the pork chop and went up against Emily. During part one, he parsnip and red cabbage. During the cooking, he went with champagne as his blind date ingredient and told Sam to calm down then the latter struggled on his dish. He was the third person from the red team to have his dish judged and presented his pork chop with champagned apple bacon demi sauce. It was praised for taking the risk and using the champagne to elevate the pork chop, and he scored that round over Emily. The red team lost the challenge after a tie at two each, and they were punished by cleaning the dorms. He compared the mess to a college dorm room during the punishment even though he had never been in one.
During prep, Antonio did not want a hug from Kiya despite her offering one. During the Steak Night dinner service, he was at the fish station. At one point, he was ready on salmon, but Sam asked for one more minute for his steaks. Still, Ramsay told him not to let Sam slow him down. The two men brought up their entrées, but his salmon was raw. Ramsay begged the red team not to let him down on an important night, but his refire was raw. When he worked on his third attempt, he asked for stock, and Brynn offered him chicken stock. However, Ramsay reminded him that they basted the salmon in butter and called out Brynn for even offering stock. Fortunately, he got his third attempt accepted. Later, Ramsay caught him helping Brynn on garnish instead of helping Sam and ordered him to help the latter. Ramsay said that Brynn did not need help on grilling asparagus and berated him on hiding from a problem, comparing it to a fireman hiding from a fire. On the fourth chicken attempt, he said they needed seven minutes when Sam said six two minutes ago, much to Ramsay’s frustration. Eventually, the red team was kicked out after multiple failures on the chicken.
The red team lost the service, and they were asked to nominate two people for elimination. During deliberation, Sam knew he and Antonio would be nominated. Kiya suggested they do not throw each other under the bus. He and Sam agreed as he claimed it was not who he was.

Episode 12[]
- Main article: Episode 2012 - Young Guns: All Hell Breaks Loose
Antonio received scallops, cauliflower, blood orange, peas, and pine nuts during the first Black Jackets Challenge. During the cooking, he called it the most important day of his life. He knew he would pan-sear the scallops, but he did not know what to do with the other ingredients. Still, he was scared about cooking the scallops. Later, Brynn asked him if polenta was like grits, and he said it was. He was the last person to have his dish judged and presented his pan-seared scallops with a blood orange gastric and pickled pears. Ramsay found the presentation to resemble a crime scene due to the gastric. While the scallops were cooked well, the plating was too abstract and empty. He lost the challenge to Trenton and Brynn, and he had to compete in the second challenge.
During the second Black Jackets Challenge, Antonio rolled a P and asked for peppers. During the cooking, he decided on a truffled tomato jam for his dish. Then, Kiya asked him for cooking times on the tuna as she needed help. He was the fourth person to have his dish judged by Ramsay and presented his seared tuna with lemon-scented rice and tomato truffle jam. It was praised for the idea for the jam, but Ramsay said they never mix truffles and tomatoes. He lost the challenge to Megan and Kiya, and he had to compete in the final challenge.
Before the final Black Jackets Challenge, Antonio received a video message from his father and stepmother. After seeing it, he was ready to fight. During the cooking, he said that he got inspired by his parents cooking in the kitchen, and it lit a fire in him to cook. He decided to make enchiladas Verdes and braise a chicken thigh despite being a huge risk. In the black jackets lounge, the four chefs watched the challenge through Livestream, and Megan commented how strong he was when given free rein. He was the first person to have his dish judged by Ramsay and felt his dish was perfect as it was something he grew up on. He presented his enchiladas Verdes with chorizo poached chicken thighs and tomatillo salsa. He explained that it was a dish he ate growing up and saw his father make it all the time. While the chicken was cooked beautifully, Ramsay said it needed a touch more seasoning. Still, Ramsay told him that he elevated great comfort food, making him feel he would get a black jacket.
After the judging, Antonio lost out to Steve for the final black jacket, automatically eliminating him. Before leaving, Ramsay said that his energy was more than he expected for a twenty-three-year-old, he cooked with his heart on his sleeve, and he had a wonderful career ahead of him. During his exit interview, he admitted that Steve was better and was glad to have done Hell's Kitchen.
Ramsay gave no comment on his elimination, and he did not receive the coat hanging and portrait burning sequence.[12]

During dinner service, Antonio was at the appetizer station. He knew appetizers set the tone of that night as he walked up his risotto. However, it was undercooked, and Trenton and Ramsay told him to cook it longer. Still, he got his refire accepted. On entrées, he and Brynn walked garnish even though Kiya was not ready on meat. After Kiya served raw chicken, she snapped at him and Brynn for making her look like an idiot. When Kiya served raw chicken again, the team went into the pantry room as he said that meat was going down in a spiral. Once back in the kitchen, he took over meat and got his chicken accepted. Trenton eventually won the finale over Megan.[14]
