As Ann Marie and Anthony await Ramsay's decision on who will continue to compete, Ramsay respected them both for their determination on the Cook For Your Life Challenge, and Anthony was eliminated due to the fact that Ann Marie's dish is slightly better than his, and that Anthony was not at his best. Ramsay praised Anthony for his attitude and tenaciousness, with Anthony thanking Ramsay for the experience. Ramsay asked Anthony to promise him that he will continue to cook, and that he does not want Anthony's jacket. Anthony left feeling that he thought he was mentally strong enough to handle everything, but tonight proved otherwise. He is also very proud of what he has accomplished, and so is his grandma and his family. He knew that he is on the right path, and that he will get better after Hell's Kitchen.

Ramsay's comment: "Anthony had a heart of gold, but I need a head chef with a golden touch, and he just doesn't have it yet."
