The eighteen new chefs arrived at Los Angeles in two separate limos heading to Hell's Kitchen. The limos arrived at Hell's Kitchen, where Marino was waiting for them. When they got out of the limos, Alyssa ran across Vlad, who she knew from Chicago. Marino greeted the chefs and introduced them to their Sous Chefs Christina and Jason. They explained that there would be obstacles, but you could not let them get in your way. Later on, Ramsay was on a monster truck and crashed into a car, shocking the contestants. Ramsay used it as an example of not letting anything get in your way. Ramsay explained like how the limos got them where they wanted to go, he wanted a chef to take him where he wanted to go. Ramsay questioned whether to hire a chef in their 20s or a chef in their 40s and told them that this season would be a battle of the ages. Ramsay told the contestants to separate between a group of 20s and a group of 40s. Ramsay announced the Signature Dish Challenge and gave the chefs 45 minutes to cook their dishes.

When Vlad went up with the truffle slicer, Alyssa called him a bougie little bitch. She felt like he was too cocky by calling himself truffle boy. She was the eighth person from the red team to have her dish judged by Ramsay and went up against Mindy. She presented scallops with cauliflower puree. Ramsay criticized the puree for not being made right but praised the scallops for the great sear leaving her three points. The red team won the challenge after a tiebreaker at 31, they were rewarded with a dinner cruise with Chef Ramsay. During the reward, she expressed how she thought women communicate better than men. She felt like she had one of the best experiences in her life having dinner with Chef Ramsay and the red team. She thinks they'll get more wins since they're in their 20s.[1]

Alyssa was not seen during the Creative Chicken Wing Challenge, and she lost as her dish was not chosen to be in the top three.

When the Sous Chef went over the menu, Alyssa found the blue team's questions stupid and annoying. During prep, she was worried about working with Ileana on fish as she deemed the latter the weakest link of their team. After she had to teach Ileana how to score some salmon, the latter called her a bitch. During dinner service, she was at the fish station with Ileana. At one point, she and Ileana bickered over the lobster tail just as Dafne was ready on her risotto. When Ramsay called out the first entrée order, she and Ileana were distracted by their bickering, frustrating Ramsay. He told the two to listen and reread the order. When she and Ileana continued to bicker over fish timings, Dafne and Sommer told them to stop. She told Ileana to listen to her as they were partners and walked the halibut to the pass. The red team won the service and she was thrilled that they won as the blue team should be worried about them.[2]

During the Whole Lobster Prep Challenge, Alyssa immediately dropped her lobster from the judging as she failed to get the legs out. Still, she was not happy about it. The red team won the challenge 6-5, and they were rewarded with driving European Sports Cars. Back at the dorms, the red team had a meeting to discuss personal beef. She felt that Ileana did have a decent lobster to present to Ramsay, but Sommer rudely told her to keep her opinions to herself. She retorted that Sommer gave her attitude no matter what she said, but Brett pointed out that she brought out negative vibes whenever she was mad. She took that personally and felt the red team was ganging up on her for being outspoken. During the reward, she came in first and felt she needed the confidence boost after that morning.

During dinner service, Alyssa served a special New England lobster Caesar salad with Sakari in the dining room. She was not seen that night, and the red team won the service. After elimination, Ramsay brought everyone downstairs and announced that the battle of the sexes would begin the following morning. So, she said goodbye to Alejandro, Brett, Sakari, and Vlad and welcomed Mindy, Nicole, and Tara as new teammates.[3]

During part one of the Creative Sliders Challenge, Alyssa grabbed provolone cheese for the beef sliders. The red team won part one and they received a five-minute head start, leading her to tell the blue team to suck it. During the cooking, she and Mindy cooked the chicken sliders and her dish was chosen for judging. She was the first chef from the red team to have her dish judged, and she went up against Alejandro. She made ground chicken burgers with poblano and mango chutney, believing she made the mango work. David Myers loved the chicken patty and the mango component, and she scored a perfect six. That made her proud of what she could do.

The red team lost the challenge 14-16 and they were punished by prepping potatoes for fries needed for the following service. During the punishment, Alyssa decided to take a break as she was the only one who scored a perfect six. That annoyed Dafne as the former felt she was on a high horse. Later that evening, the red team went through roleplay over what could happen at service, but she started to get annoyed by Nicole’s lack of memory.

During dinner service, Alyssa was at the meat station with Sommer. Sommer tried to help her with meat, but she did not think the former was helping her at all. When the meat entrées were walked up, the lamb came out raw. A fuming Ramsay took the women into the pantry for a meeting and said he struggled to cut into the raw lamb and did not know where to go, as she and Sommer clearly gave up. When the blue team came in to help the red team finish service, Tara blamed her as one of the women that led them to this mess.

The red team lost the service and they were asked to nominate three people for elimination. During deliberation, Cheyenne believed Ramsay would like to see the meat station nominated, meaning Sommer and Alyssa. Sommer felt she had no communication from her. Still, she retorted that she did not deserve to go up and pointed the spotlight at Nicole because she did not want to worry about the latter in the future. Nicole said she did not get yelled at all that night, but she felt the former did nothing that night.

Alyssa was the red team's first nominee for elimination, with Nicole as the second and Mindy as the third. During her plea, Ramsay asked her how she got lost that night. She admitted that she should have taken control of meat. She survived elimination. While being dismissed, she was ready to show Ramsay she could bounce back.[4]

Episode 5[]

During the Emergency Workers Breakfast Service Challenge, Alyssa was at the pancake station with Ileana. At one point, Ileana told her to help Sommer out with the salads, but she felt that the latter’s attitude was unnecessary when Sommer kept barking orders. The red team won the challenge, and they were rewarded with a Hollywood Hills party at a local mansion with a Korean Mexican fusion cooked by Kogi. During the reward, she found it hard to bond with the woman due to her personality clashes with Sommer, and she felt like an outcast.

During dinner service, Alyssa was at the appetizer station with Tara. She felt nervous as it was her first time on appetizers and despite believing that everyone considered her a weak chef, she wanted to prove her team wrong. Ramsay saw that her flatbreads did not have cheese, but she fixed that mistake, and the women sent their first orders of appetizers. The red team won the service and she felt good to win and see a man go home.[5]

Episode 6[]

Before the Trenton and Macee Wedding Planning Challenge, Alyssa was one of the few chefs who revealed not to be married. During the cooking, she found her chicken darker than she liked, but she believed it would be juicy. Still, Dafne deemed it sketchy as it looked burnt. She was the final person from the red team to have her dish judged and went up against Brett. She made a Cajun chicken with honey-glazed carrots. Although it was praised for the cooking of the protein and having flavor depth, she lost that round to Brett. The red team lost the challenge 2-4, and they were punished by making a six-tiered Bailey's Irish cream cake for the wedding. Hearing that intimidated her as that was a huge responsibility. When the blue team returned from their reward, she told Billy not to touch the cake.

During the Trenton and Macee Wedding service, Alyssa was at the garnish station. At one point, Ramsay noticed that she was cooking more collard greens than needed. Ramsay compared it to a roadside café and told her to cook with love. Tara accused her of being scattered-brained and dazed, ordering her to get garnish under control. On the main table's order, she deemed it important to make Trenton and Macee happy. However, Ramsay saw that she did not have her collard greens fired, making Cheyenne feel she saw no game from her. After the red team struggled with the order, Ramsay called her one of the three women who let him down as she could not make collard greens.

Both teams were named joint losers, and they were asked to nominate two each. During deliberation, Alyssa called that night harder than she expected, while Dafne accused her of shutting down. She argued that she kept going, but Dafne said she was her own worst enemy. Then, Cheyenne said she did not want her to stay due to her confusion all night.

Alyssa was the red team's first nominee for elimination, with Sommer as the second. They were joined by Billy and Abe from the blue team. During her plea, she wanted to fix her mistakes and be more vocal. After Billy's elimination, Ramsay eliminated her for struggling on garnish and failing to bounce back. During her exit interview, she was surprised by Ramsay's decision, but she felt she should have worried about herself and not a team that did not have her back.

Ramsay's comment: "It's so sad that on Trenton and Macee's wedding day, I have to say 'I don't' to both Billy and Alyssa."[6]

  • (After being eliminated) "I was a little surprised by Chef Ramsay's decision, but if I could do this again, I would come in with more of a voice. I didn't have a team that initially supported me, so I lacked my confidence. I should have not even worried about my team. I should have just kept my confidence because I know that I can do it."
