As Ramsay's Sous Chef, Aaron acted as Ramsay's right-hand man in the services. He held the same standards as Ramsay and would often get irritated by contestants' constant mistakes. Unlike Sous Chef Scott who was usually seen as hotheaded, aggressive and boisterous, Aaron was usually seen as more calm, reserved and quiet.

Season 15[]
On episode 2, he broke up an argument between Jared and Frank, reminding them that they had very little time before service began.[1]
On episode 5, he warned the men not to mess up an entire batch of candy during their punishment.[2]
On episode 12, he revealed to the blue team that the durian fruit they were prepping was for a moichi dessert, and Frank talked to him about life during punishment, much to his annoyance.[3]
On episode 14, he and Sous Chef Christina were given the night off, and ate dinner at the chefs table.[4]
Season 16[]
On episode 1, he instructed all the men back into the kitchen from the patio after the blue team was kicked out of their first dinner service, only to be stopped by Ramsay in the back hallway.
On episode 3, he summoned Matt to Ramsay's office so the latter could convince the former not to quit.[5]
On episode 14, he and Sous Chef Andi were given the night off, but due to the final five's miserable performance, Ramsay was forced to call on them to complete the service.[6]
